  • Beautiful! Great rendition

Too bad, one of the MOST gifted voices of the past 20 years, so fast ending to ruining

  • So far this is my favorite version on YouTube. What a shame this woman overused her voice. It was magnificent.

  • A great version.

  • I think it is beautiful. I think many sopranos go into unsupported quiet mode and she doesn't do this at all. Only criticism is that I think the tempo is quite a bit too fast.

  • Prima!

  • Studer like I love her. What a morbidezza, a cantabile, gee ! If only she hadn't sung all and anything, she would have lasted longer and ranked among the best sopranos of the last quarter of the century... sighs.

  • @PonselleLover, yes I think she is an example of over-exposition in medias at some time, that later backfired

  • So beautiful... Brava!

  • Cheryl Studer is an artist who at times could make me wince but with this aria ahe moved me to tears. Such beautiful singing.
