I just don't buy it. I'm familiar with various levitation tricks and this one smells of one. Firstly, this feat was performed in darkness which helps to hide black wires. Secondly, the ring of fire around the shaman causes one's pupils to constrict, also helping to hide the wires. This effect works on film and video cameras too; to avoid overexposing you need to constrict the iris or reduce the exposure of the camera, making it more difficult to capture the outline of the wire or wires. Clever.
If this is what it seems to be, and I have no logical, scientific reason to doubt it really, it's AWESOME! I want a go! haha I'd like to see different views, on different parts of the EM spectrum, analysis of air currents and temperature, magnetism, etc in the area would be interesting. It greatly disturbs me that you have such a lack of faith of our own kinds skill. Of course they were that skilled, they didn't get it perfect straight away, it took years of perfection and the end result is what we see today. I don't see what stars have to do with it, technically those stars aren't there anymore.

I just don't buy it. I'm familiar with various levitation tricks and this one smells of one. Firstly, this feat was performed in darkness which helps to hide black wires. Secondly, the ring of fire around the shaman causes one's pupils to constrict, also helping to hide the wires. This effect works on film and video cameras too; to avoid overexposing you need to constrict the iris or reduce the exposure of the camera, making it more difficult to capture the outline of the wire or wires. Clever.

If this is what it seems to be, and I have no logical, scientific reason to doubt it really, it's AWESOME! I want a go! haha I'd like to see different views, on different parts of the EM spectrum, analysis of air currents and temperature, magnetism, etc in the area would be interesting. Not to debunk or be annoying; just to try and understand a bit more. Though if it is fake (we can't know either way from a video, can we?) it'd be found out with a bit more research anyway.
