  • I was at this. That was so freakin amazing hearing 20,000 people singing dont stop believing. It was so good!

  • I coulda gone...worst mistake of my life to turn down that ticket...I hope they come back to blossom...

  • I WAS AT THIS CONCERT!

  • me too! twas so amazing. you gonna catch def leppard with poison and cheap trick in june at blossom? i sure am

  • god, this concert was amazing, my dad got tickets like the day they went on sale. :P so we got to go, it was prettty kickass. 20 thousand some people singing to dont stop believin sends chills down your spine every time

  • i was the one that gave Arnel a birthday card which he held up to the crowd during DSB!

  • Great concert

  • damn, I wish I had been at that concert so freaking much...

  • i was there! my mom and dad bought our tickets on ebay because it was sold out 2 months prior to the show...lets just say they werent cheap

  • sweet concert

  • Actually....Arnel didnt really have bronchitis. And this came straight from Arnel himself!

  • I find it funny that Arnel (as a male) can sing Heart songs in original female pitch (just youtube him doing Alone). I think that it would be easier for him than the Journey Steve Perry catalog actually

  • On the other hand, Arnel has to sing one of the toughest male tenor catalog there is, the same one that wrecked Steve Perry's and Augeri's voices, this while getting over bronchitis

  • You Filipinos really should calm down. Just because somebody likes Heart better doesnt mean they are crazy/stupid, etc. That is their opinion.

  • fuck you you scamful bigot joues person

  • 1. That doesn't make sense...at all.

    2. Please spell things right, I'm guessing it was supposed to say, "Fuck you, you scamful bigot jews person." Which again makes no sense.

  • Yeah, but Ann was not recovering from bronchitis. Obviously some of you guys are not really Journey fans.

    Thanks for the vid.

  • Journey sounded good, AP is a very worthy replacement. However, due to the nature of their music and style, they didn't have the power to dominate like Heart. It was billed as a Journey show, most people were there for Journey, but the place went nuts for Heart, who put on an unforgettable show. Everyone wanted more from them!!!

  • jealous bigot

  • heart baby!!!

  • AP did a great no doubt..but its very obvious hes struggling cause of his bronchitis problem. only wish he recovers soon. its a live concert so you cant expect "studio quality" all the time...IMHO seeing a live performance is a big element of being a professional musician...id rather see someone singing with pure heart and vulnerability then pretty faces staged dancing and lip syncing at the same time if you know what i mean.

  • ditto, vawklin :) He put on a great show despite throat problems caused by acid reflux. Kudos, Pineda! He's still #1 in my book :)

  • thanks scot for this video. you tried your best and we appreciate that. at least we got to hear and see AP. He sounds fine.

  • How can some people be dissapointed by Arnel's performance this night? He sounded good a lot of people had fun, this doesnt call for a cancellation. Sure he's not at his best...He's ill..But he tried his best. You should be appreciative of that. If not, don't call yourslves Journey fans.

  • Say what you all got to say. People live in the present. People move on. Journey was picking up the pieces and Arnel was the right guy to pick-up from where Steve has left off. Deal with it. TY for sharing scottheisel

  • Of course this dressagelover78 does not like Arnold. Hehehe.

  • was there on the lawn as well. Killer show. Arnel rules. I kind of noticed Heart stealing the show as well, but we were truley there for Journey. The croud went nuts to get Heart back for an encore, it was massive compared to Journey's.. I'm like, whats going on here?! Amazing show. And I was suprised it wasn't louder too!It seemed like Heart's instruments and vocals were mic'd better than journey's too.. was kind of bummed about that. Hope to see them around here again!

  • i was there, on the lawn, amazing. pure awesome.

  • You mean Arnel? I can tell you really don't like Arnel because you can't even spell his name. Steve Perry had 10 years or more the chance to change his mind and join the group again but chose not to. So Journey has to move on. I'm glad you had fun last night.

  • Nope you weren't really there! Just saw the "Separate Ways (with Perry" video on your favorites. Guess it's obvious who you're a fan of. And it's Arnel, okay... Not Arnold... Guess this even makes it more obvious that you didn't really go to this concert....

  • i was there last night too, best show ever, heart just blew me away. journey kicked butt too but cheap trick couldve been better

  • i was there, good show

  • I was there also, my ears are still ringing....what an awsome show ! cheap trick was good, but Heart and Journey was off the charts awsome, Ann Wilson will always be my favorite female singer, and Arnel is earning his stripes too.

but I hated the traffic jam leaving that place, great night for a concert.

  • yeah i was there too.....your ears are ringing lol? really ?? good show but the volume was not nearly what it could have been..

  • I was seated close to the video camera in the center of the pavillion, seemed like the volume was loud, especially with journey.

I think with ampitheaters, you need to be seated in the right spot to get the right effect on sounds, I imagine the lawn area was not getting perfect sounds or volume levels, but if you had enough beers in you, you would have not noticed either way...lol

it was still a good show.

  • gotcha....in the pavillion i bet it was pretty loud....i was in the lawn and still appreciated all 3 bands...neil schon really is the ANCHOR of JOURNEY that man can play some mean guitar....

  • Heart is awesome but Journey is waaaaayyy awesome!!!

  • whoa! hes got his groove back! was a little bit worried with his voice a while back. Journey rocked!

  • We were there last night, too! HEART stole the show, we thought. Ann Wislon's voice was AMAZINGLY still powerful as ever, and they sang their top hits.

  • thanks for posting ....i was here with my family and thought JOURNEY did a great job with their new vocalist ....however i thought HEART was the band of the night and loved ANN WILSON'S power/vocals especially on the AMAZING version of the WHO'S rain-on-me song.
