Yeah, ang C5 road ay magiging toll-free PERO:

1. Mas magastos

2. Ang gobyerno ang gagastos (mas lalaki ang utang ng pinas)

kumpara sa MCTEP na:

1. Aprubado na bago pa dumating ang C5

2. Ibang private companies ang gagastos (most of it)

Libre nga ang C5 pero in the long run, talo ang taxpayers. Also, since nagawa na ang C5, mahirap nang kumbinsihin ang private companies na gumawa ng MCTEP highway papuntang coastal. Libre nga ang C5 pero talo ang taxpayers at lalaki lalo ang utang ng pinas.

You may have a point there. But Villar's projects are not as exclusive as the subdivisions you had mentioned. Kung ako ang homeowner ng isang Villar property, that road is a positive sign. Pero if I'm a Forbes Park owner na katabi ng EDSA na maningay, iba na usapan.

Villar indeed use his influence sa C5 extension and that is unethic for a public official, pero may nakinabang rin sa project na yun na ordinary perople. Lesson: Dapat talaga mga technocrat ang pipiliin natin na lider.

Winnie made a lot of holes in her presentation. One thing I agree on Winnie is that Villar used his influence on the project. But, every single gov't official, from tanod to senator to president, use their influence to benefit their holdings and their family wealth and Villar is not the only senator who use that.

@akosistella: Hindi mo nakuha yung point ni Braidsminion. The whole presentation of Winnie is anchored on her claim na unnecessary yung isang road project. Kasi, sinabi ni winnie na term "it is then CLEAR that..." ibig sabihin, binigyan na nya ng judgement yung project pero yung explanation naman ni Braidsminion is important kasi ang tanong ngayon ay san nagumpisa yung toll gate at san yung end ng toll gate. Because kung tama na iisang exit at entry point yung MCTEP.......

The question is kung makikinabang din mga buyers ni Villar dahil sa taas value nila sa lupa kasi kung tataas ay magandang investment sa mga buyers therefore hindi lang si Villar ang nakinabang kung hindi pati yung mgaordinary buyers which is not a very bad thing.
