That's an average sized one for this area. I've seen a few larger ones that were nearly the size of my hand. For the most part they are harmless if you leave them alone, but it's not much fun to walk into one of their webs!

I was dirtbiking in Florida, and my Dad went through one of their webs. The spider crawled down his helmet and on his leg. BIG ASS SPIDER.
