I learn a lot from your videos. I wish health magazines would talk more about stuff like this. There is just so much stuff to learn but they always say the same thing,"Eat right and exercise" and its just their information always seems the same. I love how I am watching your video and I am learning something that I didn't know before when magazines always have the same information:)
Great tips. And yeah, i found in the process of going raw, just in starting to eat salads regularly, how it was like a baby learning to eat all over again, "chew-chew-chew, like a choo-choo train". But I'm hoping to hear how to rehab or keep up hcl levels (uh guess that's the same as bile production, eh) that normally diminish as a person ages...err, is that rather as a person degenerates? What U told us here would certainly help regenerate that process, thx
One additional tip may be....Never EVER drink anything with your meal. I've found that if I don't drink with a meal, even a LARGE meal, I don't experiience the bloating and the UGH feeling afterwards. Thanks for all the tips!
I experienced the opposite - had perfect digestion and elimination BEFORE I went on a raw foods diet. Now, with drinking plenty of water and raw juices, eating salads, a bit of fruit, nuts, and seeds, always at least 3 hours before bed, daily exercise, plenty of sleep, etc. for the past 6 weeks or so, I feel great, but elimination has slowed, almost stopped.
I've also read that if you have problems with indigestion then you should try sleeping on your left side because it doesn't put as much pressure on your innereds.
Hey Natasha!! How do you stop heartburn on a raw food diet? I have been raw for a few days now and I have been getting the worst heartburn! Do you have any tips to help with that?? Love your videos!!!♥
Natasha - what is your opinion of colon hydrotherapy? It seems many Raw Foodists recommend it but I'm not so sure about it since I have heard many different things both positive and negative.
Great tips! I have read 1. drink atleast half your body weight in ounces a day... minimum... 2. Chew atleast 30 times before swallowing, more for those in weak digestive/health states... And of course, yes - chew your juices and smoothies, take it all slow and don't gulp!!! 3. Never go to bed with a full stomach - so important. You hit the ball on the head with all these tips Natasha, great job!!!
Eating late is my problem. i finish work late, come home and want to relax. Cycling home makes me peckish and i always eat way too much,
Smoking as well. A lot of the time i eat so i can smoke more and i smoke because i have just eaten. I know, i watched your smoking vid.
Chewing properly will give your stomach time to tell you - you are full too. A good trick is to use a smaller plate, i should remember that myself lol.
You are a great inspiration, thank you. You have taught me so much.
