  • awesome man you da bomb call me

  • I LIKE IT! but I don't know which computer programme do I have to use for making the video with the green screen. Could you recommend one for me please?

  • @pablytux There are a few programs out there, but I'm not supposed to endorse any one in these comments. If you want to get a good recommendation, you can post in the Videomaker forums at Videomaker(dot)com. Every post gets reviewed both by the staff experts and knowledgeable people in the community.

    Cheers,

    The Videomaker Team

  • @videomaker OK I'll do it. Thank you!! :)

  • Thats the key! The DUCT TAPE!!!!

  • @rokas1997 It does hold the universe together, after all!

  • gud stuffs man.. saw such same stuffs at vistahd.org.. guys check it out..!!

  • how do you make videos with multiple clips in it?

like a music video where i wanna combine few music and video tracks together. And what software do i need?

  • @mrdominicsee Just get the right software. If you have any recent versions of windows, they come with Windows Movie Maker, or any Mac will have iMovie. They are great for beginner video editors and I'll recommend you to start there, although they have no green screen effect I'm aware of. The effect is usually reserved for professional editors like Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects or Premiere. Cheers!

  • my green is a bit bright (lime green) will be hard to edit?

  • @MeltedFilms The reason why green is used is because it's the exact opposite of human flesh color. You can also use blue screen and it'll work just great. If you can tweek your chorma's definition of "green", it'll work just fine :) Best of luck!

  • whats that cool thing that snaps before you film your video? the one that is sitting on the shelf behind you? I really want one...they're cool!

  • What program is that at the end?

  • Do I need a program??

  • So basically you can use any shade of green like lime green?? Can you mix those color like lime green and forest green toghether??

  • @gabycute2412

Not recommended. The goal is to get as even & flat a color as possible. Cheers.

  • @videomaker cant you just use any color for a green screen ?

  • What editing sofware is that?

  • final cut from mac

  • Where can you get the softwhere please reply someone I will sub

  • great!! What new ideas do you have?

  • So is there a special type of GreenScreen paper or can you use anything?

  • You can basicly use anything green.

  • funny "I show you POOP all together"

  • fail.

  • Where to buy a Green Screen??? plz replay!

    ___

  • ah! so that's how they do it!

  • At 0:49 check behind his shoulders.......GREENSCREEN hahaha

  • Hes using a thousand dollar program called Final Cut Pro which bundles with Final Cut Studio, or you can use Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Express which is way more less expensive than others, but Final Cut only works on Apple computers

  • Thousand dollar program? Final Cut Pro is only 400 dollars? Where as you can get Sony Vegas Pro which is more expensive and a better software.

  • Oh but it's bundled with Final Cut Studio, is it true that you can just buy FCP only?

  • No, you can't buy FCP for PC. Its only for Mac. I thought that FCP was a editting program like Vegas? Where you had to buy it for the computer, but does it come with the Mac?

  • Lol could we just stop this conversation, of course it is not for PC that is why I have a mac, no it does not come with the mac, you need to pay around 1,000 dollars or $999 to get the whole suite in order to access it.

  • Nice video. What is the programs

  • can i put a video in the back ground

  • Check out our other videos: "How To Get The Perfect Greenscreen Key" and "Videomaker - Green Screen Post Production". heers.

  • excuse me, can you tell me what kind of software did you used?

  • helped a little but i need

i got a video with me about something from me to my classmates

so the stuff behind me is a white wall but i want to change it with a video playing behind me or something is it possible with green screen?

  • i curently use pster board thats green but the reflection comes on to my body and makes parts of me fade. how do i change this? i tried changing the lighting?

  • You're on the right track. Proper lighting is an essential element to getting a good key. If you go to our website & search "chromakey lighting," you'll find may in-depth articles (complete & free) that should help. Also, view our other YT clips, "Videomaker - Setting up a Green Screen", "Videomaker - Lighting for Chromakey" & "How To Get The Perfect Greenscreen Key." Hope they help. Good luck!

  • can i use any type of paper and what program do i need

  • Ok so what kind of editing program is that? because i've tried that green screen and my editing programs I've tried dont have it

  • If you go to our YouTube Videomaker Channel (click on the blue Videomaker link above the video description), you'll find several videos covering every step of greenscreening. Good luck!

  • i use chroma keying in sony vegas 8.0 pro

  • so do i

  • Hd was using finale cut

  • que guapo estas,me encantan tus ojos .

  • handsome and intelligent

  • can you do it with a webcam?

and wich program do you need for this?

  • no. to low of resolution. Any program works, for free use WAX 2.0, if you wanna do it right, then buy sony vegas, after effects, or (noy recoomended) pinnacle.

  • is there a way you can use windows movie maker with a green screen?

  • green does not work for my cam. I tried blue and it worked perfectly

  • it's a giant freddie

  • what if you don't have a mac you have a windows and want a free software

  • I would also like to know what a Windows person can use.

  • the best thing that you can do is to download a free green screen software... but i would still recommend that you use ulead videostudio... but it's not free. Try asking around to see if your friends have a copy of the installer.

  • thanks.

  • is there a way i can use windows movie maker to to this

  • well, no

  • what software is the one you are using?????

  • i think hes using after effects cs3.

  • whats that thing called, the black thing you used at 0:36? And where can I get one?

  • It's a "slate" Can be found lots of places online if googled. Cheers.

  • okay, thank you!

  • How do you create a link to a determined time in the video?

  • you just write it out, like 0:36

  • what software is the one you are using?????

  • final cut pro

  • and if im using a microsoft film editor i cant even upload em cause when i do it says it couldnt convert it

  • how do i edit the video to use the green screen if im using a webcam where do i go to edit it cause i cant find it?

  • kk can some one make tutorial video showing in detail how to edit and actullay make the green screen

  • Please visit our YouTube channels. We have several more involved greenscreen tutorials. Cheers.

  • can someone please tell me what the cheapest editing system is that u can use the green screen in?

  • do u have 2 use green wallpaper

  • blue or green

  • green works better, but you also can use blue

  • You can but trust me, the paid for programs such as Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere work much better and easier in the end.

To key with WMM you need to find a custom FX code. You may be interested in the Windows Movie Maker forum.

  • where do i get the software?

    is it free?

  • nah bruv it looked like he was using final cut there

  • Im sure some free video editors will have a chroma keying effect but I suggest a paid for software which will work better such as Sony Vegas pro or Adobe Premiere.

Also check out Mark Apsolon. He really knows chroma keying and will give much more detail than this video did.

You may also be interested in my Green Screen Basics video.

  • im making a horror film kan any1 tell em how to make my friend look like he got his leggs chopped off and hes only like his head to his waist?

  • get him to wear green pants which will blend in with the screen. The computer will then key out his legs

  • blood? how?

  • you could paint some red near the green but I donno how realistic that would look

  • thats what I was thinkign, fake blood by the green but then it'd be like floating blood or somthing.

  • you could, but you need to find a hack for it, not sure wher to find it....

  • HELL NO.

  • i have a question. What program do you use normally? and what are all the programs you use?

  • well, alot of programs

    pinnacle studios, adobe premiere elements

if ur a beginner, get pinnacle studio plus version 12

  • I have a qustion, lets say you would like to use the greenscreen durning a live broadcast (for example your webcaming your friend and wana pretend your somewhere) well does it work for that too? please respond thanks. Cheers.

  • your hot

  • Can I use iMovie for this effect, or some of the other effects in your video, or can I only use Premiere?

  • no imovie

  • whats the program to get the effects and the program to enter the effects

  • Most decent (current) editing software allows you to key out a green screen, we used Premiere Pro & Final Cut Pro for the clips posted here. Cheers!

  • Dude you are hot!!!

  • wats the music???

  • Background music was created with loops in Garageband... Cheers.

  • ok thanks

  • Isaac, U look delicious! :)

I think its the Exporting stage that lets me down,,,

  • deos final cut work on windows? or can it work on sony vegas?

  • No, Final Cut doesn't work on windows look for adobe premire or a plugin for windows movie maker and yes sony vegas does do it so you could use that too.

  • Final Cut Express does it!! Macs Rule!!

  • Ya, they do. I love playing games. So, never mind. I mean, what the he|| are you going to do with a 32GB RAM?

  • open 1000 windows as many mac fans do in their videos then minimize them all one by one

  • Videomaker. Is that chromakey thing available in any video software? I can't find it in mine.

  • Wow that is obvious...but I like you other vids!

  • nvm i actually figured out how to get movie maker to do it

  • how?

  • Download an effect. Can't remember where from, but I have it.

    Try the WMM forum.

  • get after effects because it has the keylight effect which is very powerful

  • what program do u use to edit ur videos cuz i use windows movie maker and it doesnt have that :(

  • lol im sorry but you exspect movie maker to do.... i dont think so lol (but i would like to see if anyone could but i doubt it)

  • Movie maker is actually quite powerful. if you could kill a man with a gun or a spoon and had a spoon would you go looking for a gun?

  • no me gustan estetipo de videos

  • what can i do if i wanna do this but i only got windoes movie maker??? is there anything like that i can get 4 free off the web??? its looks really kool

  • can you do that using Window Movie Maker?

  • yeah.............that helped, not really lol

  • Great I might Try this!

  • tre bien

  • videomaker: do you recommend an easy way for me to create marquees on a mac using basic tools?

  • I make good vids but that another story. Just keeping in touch!

    Whoever 08'... Peace!

  • Unclear as to what it is you want to do, but check out "Videomaker - Green Screen Post Production" (link in "about this video"), it might help... Cheers

  • Hey - thanks for the response. My question was about scrolling stock ticker on the bottom of the screen. Like CNN/Fox. I found it though.

I purchased Slick Professional at the Mac store. It works with iMovie and it was easy to work with.

  • you are freakin hot, lol

  • and illegal ^^^

  • Cool dude. But, what program did you use?

  • Check out " Videomaker - Green Screen Post Production."

  • does the 50$ pinnacle have this feature? (idk the exact name of the software)

  • chroma key is crappy it doesnt cut out green screen properly!

  • Proper Greenscreening is a bit of an art-form and can be tricky, no doubt. Don't skimp on the pre-production and lighting setup of the shoot, this could make or break it (check out "Videomaker - Setting up a Green Screen"). In post-production, you may have to fiddle with the adjustment settings for awhile before hitting the "sweet spot" (check out " Videomaker - Green Screen Post Production").

  • you can also do this on final cut express and thats only $199

  • You can get it on Bit torrant but the file is huge.

  • piracy sucks

  • kool. wat do u edit on?

  • he uses final cut pro

  • thanks.

  • This is really cool but what program do you use.Email me saying what the program is and where to get it please.

  • he uses final cut pro

  • I would kill for final cut pro.

    eeekk.

    </3

  • He uses final cut pro but you can use other ones like i do such as pinnacle studios 11 plus or adobe after effects or sony vegas lol theres so many but pinnacle is my favorite.

  • if u look at more vids about this it says u need special material for about £25 but this costs about £5

  • This is very helpful.

    Thanks.

  • super

  • Very beautifull

  • Great Idea:)..

  • NewTek's SpeedEdit 1.5 works much better for this kind of effect. And you can pick any color you want in real-time and see the results. No rendering needed.

    Just a hint.

  • nice

  • how does it help again it wasnt bad but i dont relly get how that video helped anyone at all.

  • For more in-depth clips on doing greenscreens, check out "Videomaker's Setting up a Green Screen" and "Videomaker's Green Screen Post Production"

  • That's very kewl, simple, direct. thanks.. one more tidbit, at the crafts store any particular shade of green that's best? (I gather a "middle" green (not too forest green, not too lime green)?

  • The ideal green for a green screen background is "video" green. Or, something around Pantone 802, or RGB 0/250/0, or CMYK 64/0/100/0. Anything close to this color should work fine. To see a screen grab, go to the Vidcast page on our website, select Episode 68 and click on the "Episode 68's BLOG post" link. Hope this helps.

  • Also for PC, try Vegas Movie Studio+DVD Platinum ($99 or so). This middle version has many of the features of the "Pro" version, but they're not in your manual. Trick is: download the manual for the Pro version and see how much of that stuff works in your cheap version. (Greenscreen/chroma key DOES).

  • Hi Issac,

What kind of video making program are you using?

    Miguel

  • We used Final Cut Pro for this demonstration, but Adobe Premiere works just as well for this technique.

  • Great,

    Thanks.

    Miguel

  • Excellent. Thanks!
