  • @mtrx8500 used this method, got my launches down pat wish I had known this sooner!

  • Thanks for the tip !

  • thats weird dont the ralliarts only have 240 hp and the wrx's have 265 stock? but they perform the same and the ralliarts have a smaller engine...good job on mitsubishis part for making such a good engine

  • @chinchillawrangler wrx's are wayyyyy faster

  • @chinchillawrangler And Ive been reading that some tuning can take it past that 265 pretty easily.

  • so I just rev until I get around 3100 RPMs, then release the break and slam the gas?

  • does ANYONE drive a manual Ralliart..

  • @tillis3 they dont make them in most countries

  • @tillis3 they don't make them. they only come with the sst tranny, whicj i think is better anyways :)

  • @tillis3 they dont make em...

  • I've tried it several times with mixed results. The tach seems to drop sometimes b4 re engraving. But other times it just explodes off the line. Which fukin rules!

  • I just raced an Infiniti G37 x at a stop light. Some douche thought his car was the shit. Anyways he beat me off the line due to the lag I caught up a little through 1st and 2nd but he inched away after third gear. We pasted 100 in a 35. Wish I had this trick because his car costing 10 grand more then mine also had almost 100hp more as well. I will try it tomorrow! Its funny I tap the gas at stop signs, not sure why lol. But it does rev higher with out the clutch grabbing it.

  • @sirbrutal Its pretty awesome once you get the timing right, this car can easily beat any stock infinity, I did so my self with my stock lancer (now modded).

  • Cool man, looks like you got around 5.28 for 0-60 launch on that...wanna know if that's exceptionally bad for your transmission or not though? I saw some stuff advising against neutral dropping but not sure about the brake/rev method....is it better for transmission?

  • @Ra11iArt , No real proof at the moment for this type of launch. However its tough to explain but the transmission isn't really engaging while the engine is revving. By tapping the gas pedal and releasing quickly, it tricks the transmission so it does not engage the clutch but the revs rise. This way the transmission isn't really under stress its just getting tricked until I just slam on the gas, then it engages with the turbo spun up.
