My grandfather used to sing this song to me a lot, & since I’m part Austrian it meant a lot to him. During WWII he shot a Nazi who demanded he fight for Hitler, & was sent to a concentration camp. He said that when he grew up in the Austrian mountains, they were beautiful, with fields of edelweiss’s right outside his door, & as long as he sang the song he always remembered home. He said that if I ever felt sad or lost , i should just sing this song...and think of home too. But he recently died

@airbender92 Big misconception, the song was written by Rogers and Hammerstein, who are American. The song isn't Austrian, it was made for The Sound of Music--an American musical. The song is 100% American, 0% Austrian :)
In my opinion, this is the closest and best adaption of this song. Edelweiss always has and always will have a special place in my heart. I can't explain it, but it evokes such emotion in me.
its easy all you do it put hair spray gel on wet hair and scrunch your hair when you dry it with the hair dryer as u dry it u spay and before u dry u spary...im lucky cause mined natureally like that but i scrunch it to make it nicer than it is
@Thefadingrain did you try using a fat curling iron? And dont use the clamp, just wrap your hair around it from top to bottom. Then put some mousse in it for the crispy effect. And by some i mean a lot.
@Thefadingrain My hair goes like that if I wash it, put a tiny bit of mousse in, wrap it up and then sleep like that. In the morning I shake the twists out and then using my fingers which I've run under the tap, I 'shake' the hair and slightly dampen it. Looks great if it's mussed up a little. Just experiment - everybody's hair is different and I often wish mine was poker-straight, but then friends wish they had waves. (^ ^)
