  • What about the large percentage of people - increasing - who choose not to have kids?

  • ^.^

  • I'm going to have alzheimers, breast cancer, and scoliosis. Wait a minute, already a third of they way there! Sometimes i feel like i'm starring in my own version of The Truman Show. :)

  • MIND = BLOWN sir

  • hello mister wogsland, i'm a skinny guy but lately i've been eating lots of chocolate bickies so i will get fat. i want to be fat so i can see how easy it is to get skinny again. is this wrong of me? i also did this with smoking 5 years ago.

  • no, just stupid of you.

  • i forgut to say this mesej from futur.

  • what made you stop thinking you were in the Matrix?

  • I don't think anyone can ever be convinced of that...

  • When he started thinking of the next thing he thought of.

Okay, it depends on your definition of "stopping thinking" of a subject. If you mean permanently stopping, then I guess he would either be very lucky not to have himself exposed to anything that would restart that train of thought. Or die.

If you mean "stop thinking", as in stop thinking that was a realistic conclusion, the author would have to answer that. I'm guessing he never did, he probably just concluded that it was not likely.

  • yeah, thanks for replying to something I wrote TEN months ago. I don't even remember what this was about now.

I think I wrote this comment partly out of jest but I think the point I was trying to make is not many ideas pass the scrutiny of Cartesian doubt.

Then again I don't remember if I was trying to make a point at all cause I wrote this TEN months ago.

Also I really have grown tired of this type of linguistic analysis, as would anyone who understands the limits of logical positivism.

  • I only have one thing to say, senor wogsland. You sir, are a nerd.

  • you guys need to take biology

  • Your body is a wonderland....

Your spirit, and your spirit family wrote the program called genes to create your body as a spacesuit to carry your spirit through the 3rd dimension. Your genes are only doing what your spirit dictates. The problem is your ego, which is like a virus written by your balls, confuses your body as to what it wants. Hence the 3D experience we signed up for when we planned this little sojourn on the earthly plain. Free will and the illusion of autonomy, AKA being Human.

  • i am actually someone from the future who is going to kill you because your so important later on. and because your pretty annoying as well.

  • I understand why you never took another lung cookie from the graphix bong? You were already way super high.

Thanks, I enjoyed watching. I think

  • I think what he's trying to say is he hasn't got laid in a while.

  • Your body is your obstacle? What are you a gnostic? Cut it out! *slap*. If your genes are deceiving you to the point of creating a YOU to deceive (if consciousness is evolutionary skullduggery, it is a huge white elephant) how could you even possibly ever be aware of ANY deception (The matrix needs a buffer overflow in the form of the architect only because the Matrix did not create the things it is controlling). Matter ain't free. Yet somehow, you are. What does that tell you?

  • so if your genes want you to proliferate why do scientists claim that homosexuality is genetic?

    somebody's wrong

i think its a mix of biological and environmental processes.

  • genetic diversity is the basis for evolution. Homosexuality is a part of natural genetic diversity. Of course, it is not favored by evolution, so probably will never become a predominant trait in human populations. I do agree that environment plays a role as the brain is extraordinarily complex and neural connections are made and broken through processes of environmental interaction

  • i'm not so sure how homosexual behaviour diversifies the gene pool. Sure its a social tool but beyond that, the genes remain the same.

i guess with the current 'snapshot' of our evolution it does not make sense to me. maybe a snapshot from the future would help me out.

  • Good question.

Female relatives of gay men have more kids than average. In a woman, the trait may be expressed as super straight, not gay. And if this boosts the success of the gene more than gayness it hurts it, it will continue to exist. Worker ants are sterile. Why do their genes allow this? Because the arrangement, taken on the whole, is successful.

A gene doesn't have to benefit the reproduction of every individual in possession of it. Its a numbers game. Think sickle cell anemia.

  • You're physically cute, but hooboy, you've got some serious mental baggage and ego issues. I am also thinking you're afflicted by the "Incompetents not being competent enough to realize that they are incompetent." Or maybe you just need to lay off the empty philosophical marijuana smoking sessions.

  • good one

  • Your a fucking idiot, not your genes.

  • ( SIGH ) LMAOOOOO, FINALLY!

  • Absolutely. *****

  • lol

  • Bradley, too much free time! And, it's obviously time for wifey to have another baby! LOL. If only people knew how serious you really were about this....

  • Definitely too much time! Too bad Brad can't bear the child. (Maybe the subject of his next video essay.) More diapers might cut down on these contemplations. But then there would be more of his conscientiousness out here in our world. Brrrrrrrrrr.

  • Dude, you are freaking hilarious, although, drinking a coca-cola- whilst philosophizing detract a little from your point. Awesome soundtrack as well..

  • I read an article about a guy named Kurzweil last month in Wired. He believes in something called the singularity when it will be possible to upload our consciousness into machines thus making us more or less immortal. I don't think life in a machine body would be anything like life in a biological body...

  • I read his "The Singularity is Near" last year. It's a very intriguing prospect that we may see in our lifetime, but there are definitely some large technical hurdles to overcome.

  • You're watching your own video. Haha!

  • Holy SHNIKES! You're so freaking funny, I nearly spit coffee all over my laptop.

    XOXO

    CAR

  • Great vid wogs.

  • What's in our genes isn't important!!

What's in a woman's jeans is the MOST important!! That is what keeps our life going!!! LOL!!!

But unfortunately we have over populated and our species will most likely be dead in 20 to 30 years or so. But maybe we'll get lucky and a super virus will thinus out!! Ha ha!!

  • Increase the med's .... It worked for me : )

  • LOL 5 stars that's all I can say.

I had my own little thing as a kid also being a singer an actress among other things LOL

  • Wow Bradley, hats off, thats the best 3.48 mins I have seen on YT in a very very long time. Content, editing and soundtrack all full marks.

  • As I've had various health issues, I have often thought about this. Me being separate from my actual physical body. Oh, and that the whole world was made for me -- isn't it? :0

  • Okay. What did you do with Zara?!

  • I agree. I have also thought about this a lot.

  • but the "you" is formed by your genes. you cannot separate the two. even if one tiny little thing was different about your particular set you would be a completely different person. so that should me that we are infact our genes. :)

  • That my consciousness was formed by and continues to be influenced by my genes is quite true (hence the vs. in my title). Nevertheless, that does not imply that the software of my particular consciousness cannot be run on some other hardware at a future date.

  • okay, i hear what youre saying but in order for that other hardware to completely simulate your consciousness its programming would need to mirror your genetic makeup, which in turn still means that you are your dna no matter if you are organic matter or not. :)

  • Interesting theory. Like your shirt.
