  • poor Howard, ur good, but u have no chance next to ... whats-her-name?

  • Howard !

  • Rita Moreno.

  • They're both good, but Judy has a way to mesmerize with ANY song she sings.

  • Judy Garland for ever!

  • With Judy's version, I keep expecting some to jump in and sing "that's howvwe laugh the day away in the merry old land of Oz"!

  • Definitely Howard Keel! He has such a great tone and texture to his voice.

  • definately Judy

  • Judy all the way! "Then a genie appears..."

  • i love judyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ♥♥♥♥♥

  • Judy's :)

  • JUDY OF COURSE!

  • What range Rita Moreno has -- here she's polynesian with Howard Keel, then in Singin in the Rain she's Zelda, and in Taste of New Orleans she's cajun. And all of 17 or 18 years... that's somethin'

  • Judy, durrrr!

  • @maureenmo1

Read the title of the clip, my notes underneath the clip, or the scroll at the beginning of the clip.

  • Loved them both but wish Howard had done it shirtless!

  • judy all the way

  • Each one is good in it's own right. Both respected and talenteed artists.I prefer Judy's version. I wish it had made the cut ...but then again Harvey Girls is perfect as is.Thanks for sharing.

  • sorry but i like judy better not just because i love her but because she the best hahahahahah :D

  • Definitely prefer Judy's version.

  • The Keel version just doesn't fit the setting at all. Seems more like it belongs in Seven Brides or Calamity Jane with those orchestrations. Like someone was trying to turn South Pacific into a western. Judy's version fits the setting perfectly.

  • Hayride and House of Singing Bamboo.

  • I love both for different reasons.

  • I love her but KEEL all the way!!!!

  • Judy. She's the best!

  • judy becuse she da best lol:D

  • Where do you people find these things?

  • What a hard choice!!! Both songs are cute, and both Keel and Judy have incredible voices. I think I like the lyrics of Hayride juuuuust a bit more. ;) Thanks for sharing!

  • Judy, of course! Just because I love her haha

  • I love Judy but I'm kind of biased here. Howard was soooo handsome. I vote Keel!

  • I love them both. But the Hayride is just - more fun, isn't it! :)

  • Did anyone else notice Rita Moreno "playing" the bamboo as if it were a marimba? lol

  • judy Hands down!

  • love the chance to hear both, thanx

  • Oh definitely Judy!

  • Howard Keel!!

  • Oh, it's Howard and Singing Bamboo, hands down!

  • Hard choice! Since Judy is my favorite female singer and Howard is my favorite male singer of that time. Guess I'd have to go with Judy though. Thanks for posting this!

  • Definitely Judy! Thanks for posting!

  • Isn't it sort of obvious, Judy of Course!!!
