pushups, twice a day. And yes bruises are part of being a beginner, the more you practice, the more aware youll become of your body and legs. The bruising will subside with time... i still get bruised when i learn new tricks or take a long time off from the pole..

I have the xpole but i never use the spinning mode cuz i get really dizzy. How do keep yourself from getting sick when the pole is on spinning mode? Also what is a good way to improve your strength on the pole cuz I have a hard time holding myself up for long periods of time and im only 110 lbs. I think ur amazing!!!!! You make it look effortless.

you should spot while your spinning so that you dont get dizzy. never close your eyes either. Honestly, to improve your strength start doing a set or two of pushups twice a day. youll notice an increase. oh and practicing the pole will also help with your strength, the more the better.

It is a powerful effect and comes out best in that hip mounted reverse spin you do at 1:25. Your body looks a mile long--it's all grace and beautiful form! Loved the contortion bow at 2:16. And I am always a sucker for the airwalk--it's my favorite pole "illusion"  (5:26). This one's gotta go to the favorites...

I remember this one from my skating ring days, freestyle's 'dont stop the rock' is another goodieoldie. At work i dance to this song and then dont stop the rock. Usually gets alot of comments...!
