Thank you very much for making all 96 of these videos. :D I'm currently a dental student and your videos have helped me so much!! You make viewing these slides straightforward and I can't thank you enough!!
I'm currently studying at a medical school in the UK and it's one of few that actually set a side a large amount of time to do histology, going through slide after slide. There is no substitute to what you do with these videos as you go along pointing out what certain dots or lines are as sometimes textbooks like wheaters or what I personally see down a microscope don't quite cut it. Thanks
A big thanks from myself and all the Irish 1st year Biomeds you have helped.
When first told to research, draw and write about 23 slides of what to complete beginners were intricate pink and purple images most of us felt daunted or clueless.
Thanks to you we can now see the structures which we were blind to after weeks of lectures. . . . .Whenever I mention Shotgun histology people smile . . . .
Does anyone have the set in order of release? I'm going through it in alphabetic order but it jumps around a bit so some tissues are presumed learnt but I hvaen't been there yet.....
i am studying medicine... and after 2 years i can say that you are the best teacher i had! i receive more info in 5 min of you'r video then a 2h lecture and 2h practice! i think that your methods should be spreed and used all over! to bad most still relay on old school methods of teaching. any way thank you so much for putting the time and effort for people you don't even know! you are the modal of what a teacher is all about (plus thanks to you i have an A average in histology :-)
as usual doctor well done and perfect presentation ,,ive been watching ur vids for god knows how many weeks and i hv to say that i have never encountered a pathology or histology lectures as absorbable as yours
ur crazy dude.. im here in uk.. and its probably hard to beliv but i watc your videos when i want to destress!!! yessss because you are a good teacher im british and hate to admit american higher education seems to be well contructed and imaginative which is what it should be.. i wish i had to opertunty to study under you (guys) this is probably as close to itim gona get, so thanks again.. every ons succes is gona b down to u !!!
u r originally correct, american education sucks, regular universities all over my ass for making these movies, hehe that's why i DID make them, very sad that the only way you can excel at something in USA is to go underground with a fake name
Great stuff, Thanks! I'm going to recommend this series which I've just discovered to people in my neurology class. We skip quite much histology in Linköping these days.
is this video no longer available for everyone else too? I just watched it this morning. This is such a great video like the rest. I've really enjoyed this series. Thanks for putting in the effort to do all of this.
You have saved my life! My Anatomy prof. decided to give our final on Histology of all the systems, but never taught ANY histology in class. You made evrything so clear! I hope you know how much you are appreciated for making these wonderful videos!!! Many, many, many thanks!
My final is tuesday, so I've been listening to you for days :) I sort of consider you my online professor...don't know what I would ever do without you!
call me if you wish. i have experience getting rid of amyloid accumulations in my own body over the last 9 years with remarkable results. I have much insight to offer on what I call the dozen or more types of amyloid, and by which means the body can be promted to get rid of it.
Thanks a lot for such an informative narrative along wth the slide I was really not getting the hang of what a sympathetic ganglion was and you have cleared a lot of my doubts regards the same and a lot other things .May God Bless you.
Acturally, from the begining, I just want to learn histology and pathology a little bit more. Day by day, I enjoy your teaching and its a pleasure to know how amazing human body was made. I begin to realize learning medicine is fun and I am FAR from my goal of knowing all the fun things in medicine. Thank you for your help.
Thank you, WashingtonDeceit! I want to use your "slides" to prepare for USMLE Step 1. Do you think the slides are enough? Or would you suggest some other sources as well? Thank you again.
You sir, are a legend
