It's so hard to separate fact from fiction in this story, but the most grisly details you hear were invented by authors in the mid-to-late 20th century, not from primary sources. Tour guides have added even more to the tale. Most of what these 2 guys are saying is total fiction. Google "Miami paranormal research Lalaurie" for more.
