Of course a diesel is going to beat a propane vehicle. Propane is just like a gas engine except cleaner, maybe little less HP and torque. but diesel puts out way more torque which in this situation counts. plus the tractor weighs more anyways :p
It's too bad that chain didn't snap and split that propane tank up blowing the both of you to bits and pieces. Would have made a much better video clip and helped to prevent people from buying abused equipment.
Im sorry but your missinformed. The reason behind propane is simply that it burns cleaner safe for indoor use, there is no loss from evaporation, and its more portable. other than that its a simple 4cycle engine.
