  • There are 7 idiots who listen laddy gaga and all this shit...

  • I'm 13 and can't drink beer and thus can't raise hell. So I drink soda and raise purgatory.

  • haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw play it boy !! The real ZZ Top before they sold out half-way through the "Eliminator" album. The BBQ always comes before the beers. After this album ZZ was playing to 100,000 people in Austin with Santana, Joe Cocker & Bad Company all opening for them on their home turf.

  • @metamorphosis67 Oh man! Those were the days! I was there and Bad Company had a guest star show up, Mr. Magic Fingers himself, Jimmy Page! He played a couple of songs with them.

It was hot as freaking hell that day.

  • I forgot to add that the Labor Day 1974 concert was named "ZZ Top's First Annual Texas Size Rompin' Stompin' Barn Dance and Bar B.Q."

  • @BeatlesJunkee Which was recorded for the live album Fandango. My Dad's still got his copy.

  • 3 man rock band oh yeah

  • I'm one of em! HELLYEAH

  • Dusty singin the hell outta this one!

  • @MrStonyRidge Ironically, even though Gibbons did most of the singing and his voice sounds more raunchy, Dusty Hill had the more rockin' singing voice and really sings his ass off on this, Tush, Bad Girl, Hi Fi Mama, et.

  • They got the words wrong on the live version video. No shit. But if you watch the VH version, they did too.

  • They got the words wrong!. No shit. But if you watch the VH version, they did too.

  • Motorhead does the best cover of this song. On that metal show they asked Lemmy if he could be in any other band than his own...he said ZZ Top. Lemmy rules!

  • this song makes me proud to be a native Texan!

  • We'll be out this Labor Day W/E!!!!

  • That's what I call exceptional artistis!

  • 15 year old first concert ZZTop, Tres Hombres an

    d Rush 2112 1977 ya baby

  • True story: I was at a ZZ Top concert in the 70's (with Styx). They asked the crowd "what song do you want to hear?" I called out for this one, but it seems every other person in the place was calling for a different tune. They played "La Grange."

  • can't wait to hear coheeds version......this is a pretty great song....

  • One among the fence

  • @G00dApollo91 October 11th cant come sooner

  • @MrGiantcheese is that when thier new cd comes out or just when they release the cover of this song?

  • @MrKingvanilla83 There's going to be a ZZ Top tribute album on October 11th which will have Coheed & Cambria on it... covering this song.

  • @G00dApollo91 Haha, nice dude.

  • Smoke em if got em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @brotherm2 dont mind if i do

  • 3 people aren't old enough to drink beer and raise hell...

  • This guitar lead is one of the most rip snorting on the edge leads in Rock. That poor guitar had to expose it's soul in front of everyone. It sounded alittle on edge.

  • Fuckhead "So Called" Musicians of Today...They go Out & Get Sleeved, Pierced, Pickup a Guitar, And Show Their Attitude,....Fuck You & Your Look, and Attitude, Show me Some Talent & Creativity.......

  • this song sucks

  • @sk8erme3 U Got a Tin Ear Dog.......

  • @sk8erme3

You must like Justin Bieber. The is good old RockN Roll by far. No Frills special effects etc. Just them doing their thi ng. As it should be! How old are you? 12?

  • ZZ Top and a Roadhouse. Say no more!!!!!

  • 3 Dislikes have no nerve endings........

  • You have discovered the true soul of rock & roll. It's not fancy, it makes you move from your insides out. There was an old instrumental "You Can't Sit Still" That's what it's all about. A great groove and guitar licks that bend your soul..

  • Far Out Man.....

  • God Bless America, Texas and ZZ Top...

  • @seatown100 How could anyone disagree with that? :D

  • ZZ Top was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004

  • That Little Band From Texas!

  • ZZ Top is the tops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can listen this yesterday in Polish Radio Wrocław !

This, and two others ZZ TOP's songs.

  • WZOZRD!

  • Jimi Hendrix always said Billy Gibbons was his favourite guitar player. sorry E.C.

  • I cant stop listening to this song

  • One of the finest rock Lps of all time! Fire up the Mustang and drive while blind motherfucker!!!!!!

  • Baby Don't You Want Come With Me!!

  • Real rocknroll never dies...

  • What's Billy saying in his second line in the last (3rd) verse ???

  • @brandonmatt135 The joint was jumpin like a cat on hot tin.

Lord, I thought the floor was gonna give in.

Soundin a lot like a house congressional

    Cause were experimental and professional.

  • @timin770 I listened to that part so many times and some sites say that the third verse is

Soundin' a lot like they got house congressionnal.

If you listen to it over and over again, you can kinda hear the "T" from "got"

  • @Bamasback1 . Yup. Tres hombres NEVER gets old. I'm gonna git that put on my tombestone. No one will know wtf i am talking 'bout, but, WE will know. Peace bro'.

  • @Friedchikenz - with your attitude you'll be ok. You'll find your way through life. You will be the change you want to see in this world. I've got a feeling you'll be allright.

The world needs more people like you with your outlook, regardless of age. Peace.

  • tres hombres never gets old!

  • @Bamasback1 You can add "Fandango" and "Deguello" to that list too..all 3 are.Just great classic rock n roll albums...

  • As a 13 year old kid growing up in NE Texas I was all over this. 8- Track at its best.

  • leaving to go see them live in about 5 minutes.

  • what is it bout 3 man bands? they sound soooooo good.

    rush

    zz

    triumph

  • wicked song but i need a tab for this song none of the 1s on the web sound right

  • @TomDouglas86 Learn it by ear, man. You'll take more pride in your playing and get better by doing it.

  • oh......like I needed a reason to drink beer.

  • I remember standing on the fo'c'sle of a Navy destroyer with this blasting on a boombox when another destroyer pulled right up alongside us and matched speeds. The scene it created with two warships lunging through the waves side-by-side and this song blasting was too cool for words.

  • @cozzie2000 NeoCons Wetdream no doubt I for one would rather be shafting three fit birds one blonde one black and the third a mexican. Oh yea baby

  • Great!

  • Simple song that removes all the unnecessary clutter and gets right down to a steady, classic groove and vocals perfect for singing along. The brilliant guitar solo is simply there for anyone half-deaf who wasn't paying attention before. One of the most underrated songs in all of rock.

  • um hell yeah im in the right place !!!!

  • Damn Right, Jam it!

  • super zz top song

  • this jam has a tough down and dirty beat. good old time rythem and blues baby

  • 0 dislikes, as it should be!

  • Fandango about blew our stero UP, muctha fckahs!

Oh, Tres Hombres werntin too bad neither.

And reading that bio above, it's funny, because I heard Rolling Stone did NOT include Billy fucking Gibbons in their list of top 100 guitarists of alltime.

Fuck that shit, right here and now. RS suck a fat one.

  • can of dinner, hell yeah

  • Bad-ass American rock n' roll!

  • this song makes me want to fight!!!!!!!!

  • @68lpjr Are you serious!! LOL!!

  • Listen to Fandango to hear where they came from. Some of the most bad ass shit ever. Reminds me of the good ol days of bush parties, harley ridin, knuckle bustin and random women. Whoooo Hooooo!!!

  • JUSTIN BIEBER IS A WHINY

  • @tdolz where the fuck does justin beber fit into this

  • FUCK.

  • WHY is this not on the radio EVERY DAY? It's so badass but we NEVER get to hear it. Just "Give Me All Your Lovin' " over and over and over. Write your congressman!

  • @dt2717 IMO, this is better than La Grange.

  • @dt2717 true. theres tons of bands with songs that r awesome that get no radio play. like pink floyd? check out

"childhoods end". PHENOMINAL and ive never heard it on the radio, actually just heard it yesturday on youtube.lol

  • @dt2717 So glad I live in the UK, this was playing last week.

  • @Mulitfrog BULL SHIT and as far as being glad to live in the UK MORE BULL SHIT

  • @MrMrBilko Nope, you're just a retard. Go back to your childporn, faggot.

  • the Bozzzzs can stil knock most of these Pups of the Stage for sure.

  • For a few seconds messed up - is it DeepPurple or ZZTop??))))

    Brilliant song.

  • Pinch harmonic @ 1:53 blows everyone away, every time. Git it, Billy!

  • remember when rock was fun...

  • Man how I wish I were alive during this time period. Being 15 today sucks. I wouldn't mind giving up iPods, huge tvs, and computers. I'd be outside more, hanging out with friends. Back then you could be somebody if you had creative ideas, now you gotta be some stupid generic shitty emo pop band and fucking auto tune the shit out of everything. Concerts also seemed pretty shit crazy back then.

  • @Friedchikenz if you want to go outside more...then go outside. get your friends and go outside. if you think you can't be creative nowadays then your just ignorant. there is plenty of really good music out right now. music changes, if all the music of today was like back when this came out, it would get REALLY dull. try being more open minded. as a 15 year old in todays society, you have much more advantages and opportunity.

  • @Jimihendrix6699 Wher would this creativity be? In constant reproduced chant harmony? Or maybe the droning of harmony altogether? Im willing to bet that todays young recording artist couldnt tell you what deceptive harmony is.

  • @Friedchikenz I'm sorry, but you are correct. It was all that!!

  • @Friedchikenz Man i'm 16. I know have you feel man. I listen to heavy, blues and rock and roll and i HATE emo music really a bad picture for this kind of art man. I don't have a fuckin ipod i have cd's. Fuck red vodka and all this pussy fancy drinks, drink beer and whiskey! cheers and peace

  • @Friedchikenz nice to see theres still a handfull of kids out there who know what rock n roll is

  • @Friedchikenz

Everybody thinks their time was nothing. Guess what, I lived just miles from Woodstock in '69. We all though ,as teenagers, that it was just another rock concert of the day.

Your kids, as do my kids, will think you lived in the coolest time ever.

  • @mrw1956 Crap, our kids will think the Pop music today was the best ever.

I better pass on my dads vinyl records to my kids then, that'll keep em on the straight and narrow :P

  • @Friedchikenz ....It was more personable back then. I have seen ZZ five times. No, 6....lol. First time one of friends puked on my shoes right when they started playing this song. lmao. It wasnt that funny then, she was fucked up!!!!! this music transends time and it will never get old as long as rockers like you keep the faith!!!!

  • @Friedchikenz ZZ Top are still touring and playing - and even writing new material.

If you have creative ideas in the modern world - you can still be somebody (unless you're in China / Korea / the Middle East).

  • @Friedchikenz fuck all that shit, you should be thanking god the cold war is over, and we still get to watch ZZtop live nowadays

  • @Friedchikenz I hear ya, kid, and I sympathize. But you got good taste in music, so share it with your amigos! Cheers kid!

  • @Friedchikenz I was 13 in 1973, and when this song came out. You have got your perceptions right, it was a freer time, and you could be "Creative". There were a lot of good (literally) "garage" bands, it was a sort of "open space" back then, even I was aware of it. What went wrong, I'm not really sure. Corrupt people I believe, the seventies started out good, but ended bad. A lot of things were left behind. But were made up for in the 1980's, still - this entire world is behind by 20 yrs or so.

  • @Friedchikenz And also, I replied - because I liked your comment. Actually, concerts were not that great. Take care!

  • @Friedchikenz hell yes!!

  • @Friedchikenz You sound like an old soul, it was different back in those days. We did spend alot of time outside with friends. We used to cruz around in our old cars and our music blaring. It was good times, 8 track tapes and 45's it was nice to go out and by your favorite new album on Vinyl. The music meant so much in the old days. Our lives revolved around Rock n Roll unless you were one of the Disco punks. I find alot of my friends from back in the 70's still do alot together. Peace

  • @Friedchikenz you are dead on with you're comment..... this year i'm 55 so yeah the world was on fire when i was 15 in 1971.... teenagers were everything.... we were hell raisers,,,, no shit!!! We ruled the universe and people over 30 gave us the room to go nuts!!!

  • @Friedchikenz make a band and play music. that way you can spread this music again.

  • @Friedchikenz maybe you should go out and make a few friends instead of moping on the internet. cant you enjoy the music without having to submit a little paragraph about your life like every kid seems to do on any old rock song?

  • @Friedchikenz People like you will keep this music alive.

  • @Friedchikenz One good thing about modern concerts are the large video screens. People had to bring binoculars before large video screens.

  • @Friedchikenz It think romantifying/romantisizing (Ehrm, what's it called?) the past like that is an illusion :b

  • ah yea,real rock n roll.oozzin groove,feel,soul.zeee-zeeeeetop!!!!!

  • i wish the youth today was more like this i would actually fit in. HA HA

  • this is how ya rock (down n dirty) billy style

  • this makes me want to grow a beard

  • @Jake11842

No, bro, there were no beards at this point. That corny gimmick came later, when they wanted a big payday out of the pockets of the stupid MTV generation. This is when they were still authentic and too rough edged for trend seekers. This is called rock n roll music.

  • these guys are unbelievable

  • I'm tempted to put this great song in my top ten. Why? Great lead and bass plus percussion - ZZ Top - The real deal.

  • klassik

  • Great song terrible album cover, they shoul've had some old hot rod flying thru space instead....oh wait that was afterburner sorry

  • I first heard them LIVE in Feb 1974. They had a group called Point Blank open for them and they brought down the house. ZZTop blew it back up again.

  • @salinagrrrl69 I saw them the first time summer '74 with BTO opening for them in a 3500 seat arena in Kansas City Kansas. One of my top 3 shows of all time.

  • zz top this is the real shit...rock on ZZ!!!
