it was a overlay for halloween from september 25th through november 1st now it's switched back to the normal space mountain

That new effect on the screen while in the waiting room is pretty cool. I can't help but wonder if the people on the ride with you can see video lighting. But awesome ride! Creepier than I remember.

In 1977, an astronaut Mickey Mouse with bubble helmet was the first rider. The helmet was so tall it did not clear a portion of the ride half way through. Due to the speed, the force tore the helmet and mouse head off. At the end of the ride the cast member inside the costume was found decapitated, his head never found. It was later detected that a scream, not on the recording, accompanies the track, and verified as the cast member because those guys always scream like girls.

The hell? Why are all of the Rockin' blue lights on in the first lift? I thought it was a mixture of both the red and blue lights?
