the way hip hop is, is that around every 10 years or so different areas have huge booms in popularity of hip hop that is being made there then sooner or the focus of hip hop moves somewhere else

so far its been

80's = east coast

early 90's = west coast

late 90's = mix

2002 till now = south

sooner or later the focus will move again and i suspect it will go to the midwest of america (detroit, chicago ect) after that then it'll move and maybe sometime in the future the uk will get shine
