  • Hey guys, I just released a 14ft 2inch hammerhead the other week from the beach, In the video it said you guys radio tagged the shark? How did your shark do after a couple of weeks? Send me an email if you don't want to post here on youtube.

  • Great catch pal, I've been beach/pier sharkin for 30 years and my best is a bit over 600 lbs [also a tiger]! I've had "granders" on but never managed to land one. Great release also man!

  • Would you go with an Avet EXW 50/2 or a Penn senator 10 0 if you would go shark fishing?

  • Excellent catch Albert and beautiful to see Catch and Release!

    Awesome!

    Thanks Nick!

  • AWESOME!

  • Great news!!!! ILSFA has confirmed this Shark as an ALL TACKLE WORLD RECORD For Catch and Release!!!! It will be posted Later this week, documentation along with it...

  • ILBSF which was created in 2006 for the improvement of shark fishing, has world records for shark catches and release. Check that out....

  • worlds record for a tiger shark is 1785lb caught by a guy named kevin james go to igfa.org it has all the world records but badass shark tho

  • @OGsaintCC

The record they are talking about for this shark is for land based shark fishing catch and release, not a world record ;]

  • @OGsaintCC @ArcadianWarrior Alright, for everybodies info. The IGFA doesnt have a bracket for the release of sharks. The shark they have on record if for a shark that was KILLED, NOT RELEASED... This is a pending world record from land because it was RELEASED.

  • Good job and a big shark FINALLY got released from the (BHP) pier of death.

  • cool thanks for the heads up.

  • Dude some friends of mine were swimming about 1 mile down from Bob Hall the night this monster was caught, or the night after. I cant remember when. They were shit scaredless when they found out a 12'6" shark was caught down the beach , then to top that shit off there is some kind of flesh eating virus in the water in that area. lol

  • @nalgaslaper

That virus is in the bays at the moment not in the surf. Think I have only heard of it in the bays not open water. Stay safe :_)

  • thats what im talkin about albert, keep the catches coming

  • Epic!!!

  • "thats all it is, a bigger set of teeth"

kuddos on the amazing catch & release!

  • that is one big reel
