  • The worst part of this song is when it ends. I have to look up from my shoes.

  • my friend justin was movin away, so he was giving away all his cds, and he gave me this, along with the moldy peaches . Thanks Justin!!!!! You made me a better person

  • There is no maximum limit of the speakers for that.

  • My friends and I drove to the beach in my wagon last summer with this song on full blast. One of the best moments in my life.

  • My favorite song on the album <3

this has to be one of the best albums EVER !! =D

  • i wonder if dumbass americans have heard of them

  • @astroboirap You DUMBASS !!! The genius and frontman Kevin Shields is American born in Queens New York.Go study the band history before writing any comments

  • @musicpeicho most americans are still dumb though, you cant hide that fact

  • so fucking good !!!

  • @udaran - couldn't put it better myself

  • holy whammy bar, batman!

  • best shoegazer album of all time

  • This song should've been in the movie Kick-Ass...the intro would've made for a cool siren effect...but it DEFINITELY would've been cool in the scene near the end where Hit Girl is totally wrecking shop in D'Amico's office!!

  • I've always thought this song would be a perfect soundtrack for a colossal storm or the actual fucking apocalypse.

My Bloody Valentine: less a band, more a natural phenomenon.

  • This song, is quite simply the highest form of human expression ever created.

  • @Comentaofilme por favor cara, me diga que você estava zuando. Se não estava, então va à merda.

  • Oh Chicarito, you so silly.

  • If I ever had a chance to take a trip to space i would first buy the nicest headphones money could buy. I would wear them in my helmet and time it so that When You Sleep started right at liftoff, then segued in to this song the moment I went weightless...at least that's the image I have in my mind whenever I listen to these two songs.

  • U2 are just as good. Just because they upset some peoples' indie sensibilities doesn't make their music any less worthy. I listen to both U2 and MBV with equal enjoyment. As for Synth77 apologising on behalf of Ireland, who gave him the right to do that?

  • I can say that i'm officially high as fuck

  • @ainhoator One might say that you're *sunglasses* "Only Shallow". YEEAAAHHHH

  • @ainhoator don't get it too serious, i was just joking:) i understand that people like different kinds of music;p but anyway, this is really nice piece of music , however i didn't like it at first time as well ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @ainhoator you're just too mainstream:(..

  • This was the crown jewel of early 90's noise rock.

  • @asinn44111 no, Slanted and Enchanted is alot better. Wait, Slanted and Enchanted's noise rock, right?

  • I always imagine a satellite over a large field when I hear this melody......don't know why.

  • @TenTonHorse Funny...I often imagine laying in a large grassy field while listening to this...with the stars overhead

  • This is my favorite song off of Loveless, the melody just gets to me.

  • I asked my mum to guess the musician of a song based on the melody. She guessed Burt Bacharach for this one. I told her it was MBV. She said "You mean that noise rock band you're obsessing about?" I said yes. Thumbs up if you think My Bloody Valentine's next should include a cover of "What the World Needs Now".

  • @AsmodelSoljah that would be epic.

  • mbv n u2

  • I love MBV and U2. So shoot me.

  • @halation777 i won't shoot you,but can u explain me who do you do this??! :o

  • perfect

  • I guess this might be one of most fave songs of all time, realyl

  • the guitar in this song is so divine. this album is nothing short of a perfect masterpiece

  • This song is blatantly about sex.

  • I and I only said. Love this ! Play it real loud now

  • DEE-OO-WEE DOO-ROO-RO- DEE-OO-WEE-DOO-ROO-RO-DEE-OO-WEE

  • I'm drunk, and i think this FUCKNG RULES!!!!!!

  • ooo oooo ooo oooo ooo oooooo

  • I got worms.

  • they arent no U2 or cranberries, but theyre allright for ireland

  • @mattfnmaxwell Now that is funny. Cranberries?

  • Now THIS is my favorite song off Loveless but why choose favorites when they are all so good.

  • goosebumps always. I give thanks to I my Bloody v

  • @staunchy lol

  • the album sounds even better in headphones. even ten times better in surround sound stereo

  • so beautiful! a great album :)

  • It takes time but the album really grows on you .

  • i think that sinth (up my post) say one of the most acute thing i've heard about music..

can you live a life and do not know a track like this?

    i don't.

  • I remember when everybody listened to this, and I remember when nobody listened to this, and I remember when everybody listened to this again. ^^ I love this ^^

  • hipsters..

  • I was reading a Bio about My Bloody Valentine and I did not Know that Kevin Shields was an American...I thought the whole Band was Irish lol :)

  • @Mr1991ladarius It's the opposite of Garbage.

  • who needs U2 when you can have My Bloody Valentine

  • I'm pretty sure God have this tune on his ipod

  • Kevin Shields was a yank , sorry

  • Comment removed

  • It's amusing the album is titled, "loveless" while sounding like one massive, continuing orgasm...

  • @Sudhish86 Ha, thats ironic rock for ya.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh my god! I just get lost in this song, it's just so fluid and beautiful.

  • I love you so much. I'm fucking drunk and it's been a year since everything was how it should be. I still cry every time I listen to loveless without you.

  • @BeTheDeathOfMe I'm in that same boat, brother. Except it's been a little over a year for me.

But no worries! we'll breath again someday, but for now, just listen to this wonder

  • Ah,those were the days...i remember being a naughty young scamp, dropping a micro-dot at a party and this track felt like it went on for ever...

i apparently kept asking people if it was a remix or extended version!

It should be a legal requirement to own this album.

Thanks Brownie,Pete,Deano and the Melbourne gang getting me into MBV.Peace.

  • is it wrong to find this song sexy

  • @jamieramone Hell no.

  • This song alone makes me proud to be of Irish heritage!

It brings you to another dimension. I love it

  • The album and this tune are great...could have been even greater if the mix wasn't so damn murky and the great drums not buried....oh well good tune anyway.

  • This is one of those songs you could put on repeat for a long time and not get sick of.

  • I never want this song to end

  • ireland is sorry for U2 and hopes that this music redeems us

  • @synth77 Ireland is forgiven!

  • @synth77

    Forgiven

  • @synth77 Indeed, forgiven.

  • @synth77 haha.

  • @synth77 I am as indie as the next early 90s NME reader. But c'mon. U2 isnt that bad!

  • @synth77 Well, until Achtung Baby they were great, after that album i don't know what happened to Bono e co.

  • sinth...is one of the most beautiful and acute that read in my life about music.

    thank you very much.

    cla

  • @synth77

    best comment ever

  • @synth77 I like U2 :(

  • @MyBeautifulZygote and???

  • @youknowyourrite1 And idk...I was just saying they're not a bad band, even if My Bloody Valentine is undoubtedly better.

  • @MyBeautifulZygote Well the latter half of there discog is bland and there kinda pretentious but also i was making a joke.

  • @synth77 Sorry for U2? you mean that bad ass band from Dublin who after being loved and supported by millions of human beings is now being disrespected by jealous trolls who hate them for being successful?

  • @jimmybrown11111 U" is like the nickleback of post rock(they are also really pretentious). But i am conflicted.I mean everything Brian Eno touches is gold but the latter half of there discography is bland.

  • @jimmybrown11111

I like their success, i mean the great pro audio equipment they possess, the helicopters, swimming pools, fast cars and many other things that other people worked very hard to create for them. I love all of these and i envy them.

I just hate their music, because it gives nothing to me, they just destroy my life with it.

Bad ass for bank accounts, call girls and spectacular shows, yes. But they are just music smurfs.

  • @synth77 you still have alot of credit left with Thin Lizzy, The Pogues and The Undertones, so don't worry about it. Erin go Bragh.

  • @synth77 You're good

  • Comment removed

  • @synth77 kevin shields said he would never had become a musician if it wasnt for u2

  • indeed...before you die

  • Loveless is in my top three favorite albums of all time. It is just so savory.

    Dean

  • Divine

  • What I love most about great Irish records is that the best ones are journeys of the spirit and soul. Look at "Loveless," "Watermark" and "Astral Weeks," for example....all sensational albums, all journeys of the soul.

  • classic album...to hell with grunge...and I loved Nirvana...

  • it took 2 years for me to understand and fully appreciate this album. it's a goddamn masterpiece.

  • Please listen this plagiarism

    93millionmilesfromthesun- DarkeStar

Kevin Shields should has denounced this!!!

  • This used to be my favourite song.

  • after listening to this. i think anyone's definition of 'noise' dramatically changes.

  • so far only shallow is good. this is the third song i hear from MBV loveless, and i'm getting bored.

  • @dawallaby82

Don't give up on Loveless! It may take a few listens to click, but when it does, it's incredible. It's perfect.

  • Beautiful Noise. If you are fortunate to feel this man you are blessed. reminds me of driving through the streets of san francisco at 3 am after some late night shenanigans

  • Nirvana's nevermind had a few misses. Mostly hits but definitely a few misses. Siamese dream on the other hand no misses only hits.

  • @mamoo1943, I don't blame them because the mainstream rock scene needed something fresh from all the pop rock/pop metal stuff they had been subjected to.

  • Though I love When you Sleep the dreaminess of this song competes heavily! All of Loveless is unabashed loveliness. It has the guts of the internal enmeshed with the outside as the psyche touches and is transfigured by it. This sounds a lot like a Sunset song to me. I seem to hear and experience atmosphere after atmosphere. Describing MBV takes deft artfulness or a willingness to just feel sheer trembling joy! It's not that easy. MBV is heady as wine, saturated as rich dessert.

  • This is the most amazing piece of music ever! Put it up against anyone. It is all opinion but still to this day every time i hear it i hear something new!

  • its like joyce for the ears, pure interior monologue brought to the forefront of the senses. it makes me wish other people could hear what you feel. i think if the mind had a sound, if consciousness could be expressed in terms of sound, it would sound like this. just enough clarity to hear words, but never enough to understand or to remain on the one thought. genius. and its so simple.

  • this album makes me proud to be a part of the human race. the fact that humen beings could create something this beautiful is any beyond words or description.

  • @Rossg1981 Half true. But even though some of us make good music, we still are a pretyy cruel species. Habitat destruction, hunting; shit like that makes me ashamed. P.S. <3 the album.

  • this is easily one of the best albums ever made.

  • Anyone else a sucker for a growling guitar and sexy vocals?

  • This is the only song by MBV I ever listen to. I've dropped ecstasy to this SO many times.

  • This was my childhood album. When I would get depressed, I would lock myself in my room and lie motionless on my bed with my eyes closed, the music becoming a part of me. And I'd think, well... nothing. And that was the best part.

  • THE driving song. no ifs or buts about it. try it. 65mph, cigarette, window open, the only lights being your guage cluster, this song tearing your speakers apart... surrealism at its finest.

  • @theartofnotbeingseen Dude, i littereally have done exactly what u wrote!

  • This track is awesomeness itself...

  • everyone should listen to this entire album before they die

    a masterpiece

  • @Iammyownhero90 agreed. it may be the fact that i've eaten very little today and had a few beers, but this album needs a bigger word than masterpiece.

  • You are right its an album too great for words and people might laugh at this but this entire album was uploaded a day before Michael jackson died what a bummer well off subjected But I agree with you!! this song and come in alone are my favs

  • @Iammyownhero90 I did it :)

  • @Iammyownhero90 I don't remember the name of this album. Could you help me ?

  • @fluidofilm its called "loveless" :] enjoy

  • @Iammyownhero90 so... listen, then die.

  • @Iammyownhero90 This is the only song on the entire album I was able to get into...and really only the sound in the first 20 seconds which repeats throughout the song.

  • butchering the English language and speaking of Fred Douche? We gotta leave this ignorant planet, once and for all

  • This group has influenced people that don't even realize it.

  • Best album ever made!!

  • at the 1.47.mark it gets very dreamy......

  • This song is a masterpiece. It is so dreamy and peaceful. It makes me feel like im in a dream and takes me away from reality for 5 minutes.

  • Dis song is sum whack bulshit, deez niggaz got nutin on my man Fred Durst 420 he it da truu masta o' 420

  • hahaha, cheesebread you silly bitch.

  • Hahahaha... haha... wait... your serious?

You just destroyed my faith in humanity.

  • I lol'd. Don't think your work went unappreciated.

  • Thank you. It is comforting to know that someone has some sort of intelligence.

  • watchuu talkin bout fooo

  • Fred Durst is a zit on a nats ass.

  • @cheesebread79 For reelz YOz! Fred Durst RULZ SUKAZ! DIS SONG is TOO THINKY. Nobodys IZ yeelin bout Rolin bitchez!

  • I was them live some weeks ago. It was quite inspiring but I thought that my ears were going to explode! LOUD!

  • and psychedelic95 no disrespect that was a good comment.. but MBV was a new sound as they were the legends who invented what is today called shoegaze. But MBV sang from the true feelings of mind and heart.. And gave a warm feeling of dreamy bliss..

  • Actually, MBV didn't invent shoegaze. They mastered it, though.

  • No, i did some researching.. It clearly says that they did...

  • there were bands before them like lush

  • lol it clearly says where? on wikipedia

they were on the front line yeah but they had their influences.

  • @thatguyyoudontfeel Yes, somewhere in some encyclopaedia it says "My Bloody Valentine entirely concocted the shoegaze sound, with no base in preceding genres". I've read that one too!

  • This song always seems like the best one out of all of them. They really did magic making this one there's something so unique about this one song that it makes you wonder, is My Bloody Valentine a gift from heaven or does the inspiration of shoegaze go so deep in the human mind that it changes you to beautiful?

  • 発売されてからずっと聞き続けてるアルバム

    最高のバンド!!

  • i don't like just the sound i like songs that have reference to my life like songs that remind me of me or make me feel like a main character.

  • how does that relate to the sound?

  • This band, this album. So insanely good it's scary.

  • my favorite mvb song........
