I once raced my 350z with a E350 2011 and my car gained when starting off from the traffic light. However, after about 5 seconds to the race, the Mercedes took over me with ease while i was trying so hard to gain and my speed totally reached 105m/h. By the look of the Mercedes, it looks like it was going 60 miles per hour. That's how good those cars are.

hmm.. The new 370z is pretty tough with alot of improvements from the 350z. One of the main improvements would have to be the weight issue, the 350z had a serious problem with that but now thats all corrected along with some other touch ups. I have to admit the 370z is nothing to play around with. But still very good race.. keep the vids coming

The E350 is really not that fast. The majority of that 50,000 (assuming you bought it new) went into brand name.... as all car purchases typically do with MB. A V6 268hp for 50 grand is pathetic. Of course a 370z killed the benz, a 350z would do just as much, hell even a 300zx would run laps around that Benz.

The camaro has 426 crank hp and the Z is like 330ish crank. Given the SS weighs almost 4k it can still run a 1/4 mile in a low 13/high 12...The Z can pull low/mid 13's.

@IAmTheRealAsif 370z will not kill the SS but it will certainly hang in there which is pretty amazing because it's about 1.5 times cheaper, way more fuel efficient and more reliable. Just thinking of that 3.7L V6 hanging with 6.2L V8 makes me... I dunno lol and the fact that camaro weighs nearly 4,000lb is not nissan's fault, GM just did not choose to put more expensive higher-grade light-weight materials to cut down costs while Nissan does...

If it's stock, it'll all come down to how capable the drivers are. Still, as soon as the Z get in 4th gear, I think the Sti will be in trouble. Still, they're different kind of cars. Yes the Challenger does look like a boat. Have you seen any in person yet. I went to the Chrysler dealership to see what they were like, HUGE. The thing is way too big in every dimension. You could quite easily fit three of me in the trunk and im 6'2", they are good at one thing, spinning the tires. Same with all those cars.  The new muscle cars are supposed to be for drag racing and a 370Z which can do ANYTHING still beats them at that sometimes.

Nissan has been doing it right I feel for a while, I like the S, Z, and GT series cars. One thing I dislike are people who are brand oriented, For example Ford is great. Actually the 370Z STOCK puts up almost identical 0-100 and quarter mile times to the new V8 Camaro SS.

The 370 did a 0-100 in 4.6.

(never mind the V6 Camaro)

And I'm not even really into drags ... once you put them on a track the 370 tears the Camaro apart. As for Mustangs ... I bet the 370Z will beat the GT500 around a track like Laguna Seca. The 370's real strength is the turns.

Also, look for a tuner dyno vid on here - with a new intake/exhaust, 370 = ~400bhp
