@TOTALKILLERDOG The chip is installed in the PCI-e slot. Search my videos for a video of me showing the slot inside of the machine, it requires disassembly of the unit. You can get the card from eBay, I'm unsure of any official vendors...you could try HP, but they are pretty useless about things like this.
i dont have any problems with playing the h264 .mov file Big Buck Bunny but when i want to play a 720/1080p video like how to train a dragon it stutters. Will this card help?
@DeAthZReApEr760 My Mini110 has both wireless and the HD decoder. Perhaps you had a bluetooth card installed in the PCI slot, and it was mistakenly described to you as wireless, maybe the person who told you this is wrong all together or perhaps you don't have the same exact model.
Never even held a bluray disc in my hand, so I can't vouch for that. But I have run video out from the VGA to a 720p TV and it worked fine. I can't imagine a problem going to a 1080p TV for any reason, so you should be in the good with that as well.
hi, may I know what's the resolution of your hp mini screen? mine is 1024 x 576 and I wonder if just adding the card alone would enable me to stream hd videos. there's actually a 1366 x 768 screen for hp mini 110.

Dude thank you so much i was wondering how well this software would work... I just bought my hp mini 110 and its being made right now, and I bought the better video card... I'll be honest i was really skeptical about it at first till you post this video....
For others who may be curious. The file being displayed is the native file (not transcoded) of 1080p video shot with a Canon 5DMkII DSLR. I've tried to display these files on many different platforms and they were all very choppy.
The fact that this displays so smoothly on a tiny netbook is very cool.
I wish sum1 made a vid of using the webcam!!! :L
