  • Nice....... This guy rules. Most people are all about the money but he shares for free. Thanks man.

  • do you make sell these

  • Do you think it's possible to make a video for a bow sling via paracord braiding? :D

I know it's primarily just a longer process but if you wouldn't mind adding in ideas as to where and how to attach the sling to the bow, that'd be pretty well appreciated.

    Thanks man

  • I love your videos they help a bunch! Thanks! I love making em!

  • omfg burning the 4 tips together is a bitch

  • can i send you 20 bucks and you can just make me on im not good with my hands and brading things

  • whay diameter of paracord is that?

  • very well done! what length of paracord do you start with for the diamond braid? I am going to try this and may be back with more questions.

btw...you are easy on the eyes!

  • Im having trouble with the first part of the weave can someone redirect me to a video where they just do the first part in a better view

  • hey i like blcak and red i make the brecetes maybe we can do trade

  • how do you install iy to your bow

  • hey man i was wondering if you have a better video on the first part that is bigger and doesnt cut away to the finished product

  • how did you put a loop on the end of the paracord so you could put it on the nail?

  • this is by fare my fave sub yet

  • this video helped out a ton. i've been needing a wrist sling and now have one thanks to you. but if i can't get my hands on leather what other options do i have?

  • Nice video! I just finished making mine with some extra paracord I had around, it looks great! Keep the diy vids coming! :)

  • What's a wrist sling?

  • @cLaX1227 A wrist sling is a piece of material that attaches to your bow where your stabilizer would go and loops over your wrist. This allows for a more relaxed grip while shooting without having to worry about dropping the bow when it is fired.

  • Dude... AWESOME video, the Missus and I especially got a good giggle out of the "Careful, its Hot "comments...... Keep it up.... the project worked a treat.. great stuff...

  • What size shrink tubing would i need for the ends? Rock on man.

  • did you get your butane torch from ebay

  • miller time!

  • how do u put the little marks

  • Nice Video! Definitely added to fav's... Do you have any other video's of other patterns?

  • Thanks for the great videos. I stumbled across them at AT, and ordered some 550 right away. I just made my first one, and now I can make new slings for all 7 of my bows!

  • Thanks for the videos. I've made two of these so far and plan on using the second one on my next bow.

  • Awesome video man!! Where can i find some 550 paracord?

  • I think your videos are awesome!!!!!! Keep doin what your doin and all the haters can go sit on one!!!!!!!

  • Are you a phone man in "real life?" I saw the snips you used to cut the tape... just wonderin'... Both of my parents and my two brothers work for the phone company ( not mentioning any names, but the intials are AT and T). They used to bring those things home all the time. They are some SHARP scissors. Handy to have around.

  • i've tried a standard three strand braid sling and a cobra weave. Time to combine the two . . . can you use a three strand brand instead of the diamond?

  • @zaraf822 yeah, you can...i just think that the diamond braid looks a lot cooler

  • @bowhunter4e Can you explain how to thread the finished sling onto the leather bracket? The 5/16 hole is not big enough to double back through like my POS store bought sling.

  • @zaraf822

Yes, I just did it today and there's very little difference.

  • @zaraf822 : for as easy as you make this look lol smh i suck i cannt get it down ):

  • Thanks for showing this man this is awesome.

  • i made mine out of hemp i like ur vids man

  • really enjoyed your instructional video. Unfortunately I have not been able to obtain the para cord in Australia. Could you please advise the name of a supplier where I can obtain it. Keep up the good work

  • what is the string called and where can you buy it?

  • @ipodsrule13 paracord or 550 cord...look on ebay

  • @bowhunter4e can you buy it at stores

  • bowhunter4e - Could you make another paracord bow sling video showing the other braid that is common among bow slings? I believe one "company" calls it a half and half, and another one calls it the half hitch braid. I learned how the make the cobra slings from your videos and really appreciate it. Thanks!!!

  • where did u buy your cord at to make the WRIST SLING. thanks

  • @bluemaixma04 eBay...look for "550 cord" or "paracord"

  • Love the camo curtains. I want them :)

  • This is fantastic. Wish you had a video of how to make a bow back when I started that. Haters don't worry, there's a sucker born every second. lmao!

  • do u have to use a lighter?

  • @bowhunter9a I would, the lighter prevents the cord from fraying, it also gives it a cleaner look and almost bonds one cord to another. If you don't want to use a lighter on the diamond braid, you don't have to, you can use shrink tubing for the ends...the cobra weave needs a lighter though.

  • @bowhunter4e thak you dude

  • Love your work and videos, what are the size or gauge of the strings are this same size of boots strings? and also the belt strip where I can buy them, .

  • Thank you for all the great D.I.Y. videos!!! Glad you are on AT as well! Keep it up..

  • what the heck.. i can't tie this knot even though i followed your vid

  • bowhunter4e,

What length do you start the diamond braid with? I'm 6'1" and my knuckle dragin' arms have got to be longer than yours...stubby!! lol Thanks for the vid, mo para cord is on the way! Lots to do before turkey season gets here!!

  • Well...like i said in the video, i usually measure them out like i am drawing a bow..really far...like the tip of my finger to the opposite shoulder, i still have a lot left over...and im not stubby...i am average lmao...5'9" is a good height! I just look at it this way: there is less of me to camouflage lol.

  • ur awesome!!!!!!!

  • lol thank you man

  • 5/16. You should use a stab, they do wonders for torque, stability and hand shock.

  • I made one! Looks good. But I don't use a stabilizer on my bow, so I was wondering if anyone knew what size bolt would fit the stabilizer bushing ???

  • What kind of rope do you use?

  • 550 cord it's also called paracord...it's a military nylon rope...it's called 550 cord because its 550lb test.

  • So you could use this para cord as a tree stand harness? Lol 550lb test I only weight 160

  • well...i wouldn't recommend it lol...it may be a bit uncomfortable, but i do know guys that have made hammocks out of them...super light weight and you can carry in your pack

  • haha I was only messin with you.

Wot thats a great idea though, hammocks of paracord for when camping, or even making a chair. Brilliant lol.

  • lmao...oh, i know...guess my response came out wrong. Paracord has a million uses...I know a guy who lashed together a rope ladder for his tree stand...doesn't use tree steps at all

  • lol, thats sick I'd like to take a bunch of them, twist them together and them. put a bunch of shrink wraps on it every so many inchs and about 1/12 long. any colors lol, might be bad ass who knows

  • Thanks!

  • i love this

    those look really snazzy

  • Now you went and did it! LOL
