  • Where did you extract the size file? The eclipse.exe will be inside that directory.

  • Im not sure why, but when i open the eclipse file in C:/ I dont have the "eclipse.exe" file. Is this because I didnt use the same program as you to unzip the saved file?

  • @MrStan646. Did you extract (unzip) contents into C:/ directory? It should then create eclipse directory under c:/. So, you should find the eclipse.exe under the directory c:/eclipse. Extracting using another unzip program should have the same result.

  • ur simply rocking!!!

  • Thanks a lot for this video.

  • it isnt worth the effort but all in all nice tut :) so, sorry for wasting ur time...

    hey dude, u could make a c++ tut, 2!?

  • I have problems reading from a text file. I put it in C:\Dev\Java\jre6\bin\, but I get FileNotFoundException. Any idea what's wrong?

  • @OlalOop Please let me know what you are trying to achieve (install or test installation) and I may be able to help.

  • @JavaTutorialTV I'm trying to set up Eclipse/Java so that I can read a text file from a java program. But it can't find the file. I have tried giving the full path, both with \\ and / in place of the usual \ and I have tried only giving the file name and put it in different places.

  • i have windows 7 64 bit it wont work! agh!!!! it says i need a jre or jdk.

  • @chickenpoper Install 64 bit JDK. Follow my vid from Video reponse to install JDK. Make sure you select Win x64 (0:38 secs) and 64 bit JDK.

  • @JavaTutorialTV hey i downloaded it but didnt understand any tutorial includining this one (idk its probobly just me) but i have the shortcut up and it gives me a error called "the eclips executive launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library". And i've tried everything else please help me out

  • @MrMw2isfun How big is the downloaded file? It should be around 85 MB. If it is a much smaller file then you have to try downloading the whole file. May be try googling 'download eclipse' and then follow the tutorial. Good luck.

  • Thank You it was really helpful :)

  • I successfully installed Eclipse. Thank you.

  • i need more details...i had to browse more contents for java programming...i hope you put more deatils and examples in your further video...

  • @ 1:48 ur screen shows eclipse Ganymede BUT mine ones shows eclipse Helios...and u type system.out.print.in("testing"); BUt when i write this...its says error in project...so when 1 remove 1n or in from print and directly to system.out.print("testing"); then it works!?? wats this?

  • @man13preet. Helios is OK. It is println, not print.in. It means print line. print is also OK and it does not print the end of the line. Good luck leanring Java.

  • mine was 99MB LOL!

  • Hi,nice videos .

    Eclipse

Failed to load the JNI shared library "C:\Program Files(x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_22\bi n\..\jre\bin\client\jvm.dll.

  • @jacysing89 I have the exact same problem too. Sorry but I don't know the solution.

  • @klglange Looks like you have to install the 64 bit version of Java. Let us know if that works so others will not run into this problem.
