This is makes two references to two famous cults:

Peoples Temple - A cult who in 1978, led by Self Ordained Minister Jim Jones, committed the first mass suicide in modern history. More than 900 people died in "Jonestown" South American by drinking Cyanide laced Kool-Aid. Kool-aid is now the tern used for Blind Faith Followers.

Heavens Gates:

Heaven's Gate was an American cult. On March 26, 1997, police discovered the bodies of 39 members of HG dead from apparent suicide.
