America put impossible sanctions on Iraq after the war, not allowing it to import food stuffs or medicine technology since it could potentially be used as a weapon.
Before the war, chid (1-5 age) mortality was above the world average; after with the sanctions, it more than doubled, and became lower than the world average.
Sanctions accounted for this directly since no medicine (or limited amount) that could cure certain diseases could be brought in.

I can not tell the cause and effects without the case history present and am aware that unrelated pictures find their way into internet picture collections. What is your medical background and analysis of similar pictures, in contrast, taken from some of the Chernobyl Youtube collections. I apologize in advance if your American belief system feels unjustly attacked in the defense of your statements.
