It honestly ruined my life for quite awhile. It took me over 3 years to recover from brain damage from a 2 week Robitussin binge.
However, if you're going to try it no matter what anyone says, make sure that the cough syrup/gels you get only have one ingredient: dexromethorphan hybromide (DXM HBR), and no other ingredients.
Make sure that you don't do more than one 4oz. bottle of Robitussin (approx. 354mg of DXM), and don't ever do it more than once a month.
Take my word for it. I wouldn't do it in the first place, but if you do, be safe man.
