lol, i love this! its so true. I took my friend perfume shopping, it was awful. all the employees were laughing at her, I had to show her that you spray the card, not the entire store. I also had to show her that you do not put 10 different lotions on your hand, wash them down the drain, then put 20 more on. anyway, great video

This is a good rant. People should really use a little more sense when shopping for anything, but the points you make about fragrances are especially relevant. Also, I thought it was common knowledge (b/c I learned this back in high school...) that after three different fragrances, the olfactory "palate" can no longer distinguish between different scents effectively. Plus, the alcohol thing...yeah, there are 3 layers to fragrances. Why don't people know these things?

I completely agree... some people have ZERO common sense.  The thing that makes me mad as a customer there are the people that cannot use the clearly marked tester and decided to open some of the other bottles and play in them making them unsanitary and a goopy mess. This is not just a bath and body works thing but a general cosmetic / beauty shopping thing. I got home once with what I thought was a sealed body butter and it had someones HAIR and finger marks in it...how nasty.

Sometime I spray the inside of the bottle cap. I don't spray it in the air because just my luck someone may walk into it and be offended...............not everyone wants to walk into a cloud of perfume:(

@tanyatmr This is highly recommended! I do the same thing all the time. This way, the fragrance stays put in an area where you can smell it. Of course, this is only really a second resort after a paper card.

I use to work at a BBW in California and they paid minimum wage. Raises are once a year.

My very favorite is when i look around and say no i dont have anymore of "insert whatever their looking for" and they tell me well you didnt check under neath. DUH!!!! I stocked the shelves I know theres nothing there. "Well can you ask your manger" i am the manager! and then they look up in my understocks anyways and find nothing!!!! I dont come to their house and open up they closet!!!

I always spray it on a the piece of paper, and use a different one for each scent. so yeah... They should provide um ... coffee beans to clear the nose...
