this movie sucks..first they elimante Keisuke.
Second nakazato and Ryosuke were never friend in the anime nor the manga.
Third they put bunta like an alcoholic and violent father..and the races..c¨mon inever saw at the manga or the anime a tree cars race...this thing sucks..period....
@VirtuousSnake ok..but anyway this is a shame for the series,the action races are ok.. but they make a huge mistake changing all the argumen, im a die hard fan of the series that's why im so pissed off....
I found out about Initial D a few months ago. I watched all 4 stages in about 1 1/2 weeks. While I may not have a life, I was still disappointed how short it was.
Long story short: It is (as youtubers like to say) Epic ;)

Try to watch it, not as a strict conversion of the original, but as a die-hard fan movie tribute... thing.
I was rather disappointed at the loose connection between Metro 2033 the game and the book. But the game is still loads of fun.
See what I mean?
