  • @Woelfin001

Yes indeed, BB's interpretation is superb.

  • the best interpretation and recording of this beautiful aria!

  • @shindereen

    I agree 100% with you.

Please visit my channel for more great singing and music by Ms. Bonney.

    Thank you.

  • Beautiful interpretation and phrasing by Ms. Bonney (lovely pictures as well!)! Thanks so much for sharing this! :-)

  • The greatest interpreter of Mozart's music.! She can bring Mozart to life.

  • Does anyone know in which country/concert house this was recorded? I love this quicker tempo; the aria is beautiful slowly as well, but I think the tempo she takes here captures the sweet simplicity of the moment :-) This aria is a pure gem!

  • Very simple, but technically perfect, and so much subtle musical expression. Thats how mozart works.

    Magnificent!

  • @manolly

Ms Bonney is a great interpreter of Herr Mozart.

    Thank you.

  • @acatalano2641 Thats exactly what I meant to say.

  • @manolly

    I know :)

  • on of the things i love most about barbara is her humble style - she lacks the terrible ego we often see in opera divas and that ego ruins many operatic performances for me. babara has it sorted out. what a lovely voice and lady.

  • @samantaray

I agree...BB is very down to earth.

She is a wonderful singer, teacher and mentor.

  • Her voice is just perfect for it. Mozart would be pleased...

  • @AminasDream

Ms Bonney's voice is sheer perfection.

Herr Mozart is smiling from ear to ear :)

  • Awesome

  • @InQuietNight

    Yes of course.

    Thank you my friend :)

  • (Id like to offer a small correction for the notes and tags: the character in Die Zauberflöte is called Pamina, not Parmina)

  • I've never been much of a fan of opera (I've occasionally been stirred by a Maria Callas aria) but Barbara Bonney has stolen my heart (Her rendition of Schubert's Ave Maria here on YouTube is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard !)Thank you.

  • @JazzLoverKhurram

    You're very welcome.

Ms Bonney has stolen your heart
