Great and useful video, but there is a spelling mistake in the slides, "colleagues & calssmates" right after you got warned to use good spelling and grammar on Linkedin. This is very entertaining actually.
There's a Facebook fan page called "Linkedin Connections Build" go there and leave your profile URL and email and other members will add you... Its a great way to get more connections...
this is an excellent review of Linkedin features. I highly recommend Linkedin if you are loking to network with other like minded professionals. MichaelDBarrett Youtube
What a great introduction into the benefits of joining the LinkedIn Socal Network. I would reccommend all professionals in Australia to become members to accelerate their career prospects.
New LinkedIn users beware. Your invitations that you send out via LinkedIn will continually appear in peoples mail box because Linked in will keep sending them out "on your behalf" until they are pounded into accepting or you manually withdraw them. Your email will probably get blocked and sent straight to the SPAM bin, which if you are trying to build a network of professionals, spamming them isn't the best way way of going about it.
Quick 7 minutes getting you familiar with LinkedIn. Though you may want to check your spelling of classmates; which was fun as you point out not to make spelling errors.

Thanks for this. It's been a few months since I set my account. But I recall there was a fee to link with others. Is that still true?
