However, I was raised Mormon for more than 20 years and I have never heard any of the LDS leaders suggest that followers would one day become gods of our own planet. When you get older and have more life experience you'll look back and realize that you didn't have a clue. By the looks of the house you live in it's obvious you need the government to help you. You seem to be a self-absorbed, pseudo-intellectual who actually believes that you can convince people that Ron Paul has any shot in hell of doing better than even Dennis Kucinich in a national race. Get over him. He'll soon be back in Texas licking his wounds. You Ron Paul people kill me.
republicans will lose this election without dr. paul because immigration isn't enough of a wedge issue to overshadow iraq, and dr. paul is the only candidate that is with the majority of the people on both.
Because they will elect Ron Paul. Remember, Ron Paul is leading the internet polls, and phone polls only calls people who voted in the republican primaries earlier. Almost all new voters will vote Ron Paul.
Ron Paul cannot win because the GOP will never nominate them. They will not change there hardline pro Iraq position just to garner some votes. You won't see such a dramatic political shift within 3 or so months, even if Ron Paul does carry some states which I still doubt he will.
I agree, Ron Paul is the only Republican that can beat Hillary. Because lets face it, the rest of the Republicans are completely corrupt and insane. 70% of the electorate want out of Iraq...70% is HUGE, he could do it.
I'm 53 and I can tell you that that you're a very wise young man. You're right on the money on everything. I wish more people would wake up. Keep up the good work.
Ron Pauls base is filled with conspiricy theorists which wont fly with the majority of the conservative base. His base is what is giving him such a bad name..its simple. Open your ears up also outside youtube!
Bush has one thing in his favour definatly..his eyes opened to this global terroism!
Ron Paul is an isolationist..this wont work today in this modern world of global economy!
National Security and the borders are top concerns of the conservative movement and also on the mind of many Democrats. Ron Paul wont win, voting for him is only a vote for hillary!!
So let me get this straight, you think Paul can win the nomination of a party whose base is openly hostile toward him and while he isn't polling very well (it's very easy to disregard polls that don't suite your candidate) but you think Obama and Edwards, who are much closer to beating Hilary in the polls, can't win. I'm sorry you keep talking about the "issues." The MAIN issue is the war. Ron Paul will lose because of this insane idea that pulling away and sticking out necks in the sand is going to make it go away. They got their foothold from Carter in 1979 when he allowed the Shah to be overthrown. Let Paul give them a stronger foothold, you can kiss all the issues goodbye.
It is nor far fetched that Ron can get the nomination ... The people are rising up quickly .... Thanks for posting this, I was very upset when I saw the REAL NEWS doing the same damn thing that the mainstream news.
You didnt back one of those statements up...on what issues can Rudy or Mitt beat Hillary on? The Christian right has expressly stated they will not vote for Rudy. If he gets the nomination, the media will be flooded with pics of him in drag, and the word will get out on how poorly he prepared for 9/11, and how he treated the first responders.
So is there a "successful" way to prepare for massive catastrophes that happen during the Bush administration like 9/11 or Katrina? Oh wait, NONE OF THOSE ever happened during any other administrations. We don't know if we have nothing to compare them to. Moreover; are you saying Christians will vote for Hillary if Rudy is nominated? Ron Paul is dangerous with his ideology and all Republicans know that first and foremost this war must be won.
The world trade center was bombed in 93, so when asked where to put the command center, he put it at the world trade center. In 93 the walkie talkies didnt work...no bid contract to motorolla, failed, stuck em back with the old non functional ones. The first responders? Those buildings were full of osbestos, and yet no warnings...and now they're being denied medical care.

Lord, you think the American people are going to eat Rudy for in-ept walkie talkies? He brought crime down to the lowest of any major US city, he was great on spending, on taxes. American people know that he doesnt represent Republicans the best, but since you mention funding "mate", who else will have the funding to defeat Hillary besides Rudy or Mitt?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
The best man ideologically on national defense, spending, and social issues is Duncan Hunter. He; by the way, smoked Ron Paul and Thompson in Paul's own state of Texas in a straw man poll recently. But I am telling you, Christians realize that social issues definitely have to take a back seat when it comes to this war. If it's Rudy versus Hillary, they'll vote for Rudy.
The Christian right have stated they will vote third party, handing the election to Hillary.
The Straw poll you reference, Ron Paul supporters were turned away...
Hows Duncan doing in fund raising mate? What about the forst fires in California...with no national guard or equipment its kinda hard to deal with drama on the homefront.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
To begin with, I'm not sure where you are reading. By in large during the primary we all go for the toughest best man for the job. Like Duncan Hunter. The straw polls giving him victory prove my point. However; ALL CHRISTIANS KNOW that Rudy will continue the fight. He will attack Iran. He won't pussyfoot with our enemies. It will get him elected, I guarantee it. And who's going to run in a third party?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Jesus wouldn't bomb anyone mate, because he's in Heaven! THIS ISN'T HEAVEN! Here, we have free will. Free will to sit and allow people to attack us. Free will to fight back and restore civility. For all the footholds Democrats have given to Islamic fanatics, what is wrong with our military having just one in Iraq to monitor the plague of slaughter? Jesus wouldn't have taken out entire german cities either. But thank Him you aren't living under Nazism today.
We obviously disagree on what is in Americas best interest in regards to foreign policy and the war, I wont waste my time listening to you regurgitate talking points. The fact remains, 70 percent of the American people want us out of Iraq. Its funny you bring up a fascist state..when we are losing our liberties, and free speech is being limited, dissent demonized, etc...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
That isn't an argument. God, talk about regurgitating talking points. I'll do one better on ya, 100% of Americans want troops out of Iraq. They'd be insane not to. But what you regurgitators keep failing to mention is after what? Just leave now? Leave it to al-Queda? The polls you cite never seem to mention what 70% of the Americans want done or what kind of condition they want Iraq in before we just up and get out. What a mis-leading statement.
Al-Queda in Iraq is plagued with the same ideology that bombed us on 9/11. You're the one who thinks that attacking ONE MAN or capturing only those involved in 9/11 will solve. Ron Paul has ignored what happens when we do nothing and allowed Iran to be overthrown when the Shah was deposed of by Islamic fanatics. Now Paul wants us to ignore it again. Why are you stealing O'Reilly's line?
To get the GOP nomination, you need Republican votes. John McCain found that out in 2000. Paul is a Libertarian who expresses some principles in the GOP, but his opposition to the war, etc. won't endear him to GOP voters. The nominee will be Guiliani, Romney, Thompson or (dark horse) Huckabee. Paul can't be the nominee simply because he won't get enough GOP votes. And criticizing others for being establishment, how many terms has Paul served in Congress? Thanks.
Traditionally the Republican party has been antiwar. In fact, in 2000, Bush ran on a humble foreign policy, and promised no nation building. 70 percent of the American people want us out of Iraq now. I dont criticize them for being members of congress, but for going to bat for corporations, and private interests. Paul has been consistantly for the people, and his voting record proves it.
You are so right. The whole Ron Paul delusion is quite annoying. He thinks he could win something without the Republican base, which he, or at least his followers despise. He is wrong. Ron Paul and you on his team have alienated the majority of the people he needs to get the nomination. You think that because you have enought energized people to win a few polls user driven polls you have enought people to win an election. You are wrong.
Ron Paul is the only true conservative running for president. 70 percent of the nation want us out of this war. He's one of the few running who is not a member of the CFR, and who isnt going to bat for corporate and private interests. There are still many republicans who believe in small government, a modest foreign policy, and who are prolife....remember 2000? Thats how Bush won the election...or stole it..but he has a good deal of votes either way.
I think it's important for freedom voters to discard the chains of bi-partisanship and get Democrats to view Ron Paul as the leader of The Revolution.
With enough support from Democrats and Independents, Ron Paul can get the Republican nomination. By then, he'll have enough momentum to expose Hilary as the neo-con candidate that she is.
The world will love Ron Paul - already does: whowouldtheworldelect(dot)com
Thought Id add, Im pro choice. Though I do believe it should be a states issue. Those few states who would ban them, would see black market abortions goin up, deaths and injuries related rising, teen pregnancies rising, etc...I believe soon after they would remove the ban, and focus more on education and contraception.
