First, I'd like to point out that I have absolutely no problem with your politics. I too am considering Ron Paul for President. But it was your views on the LDS that I wanted to comment on. I don't think of myself as Mormon these days. However, I was raised Mormon for more than 20 years and I have never heard any of the LDS leaders suggest that followers would one day become gods of our own planet. To get the GOP nomination, you need Republican votes. John McCain found that out in 2000. Paul is a Libertarian who expresses some principles in the GOP, but his opposition to the war, etc. won't endear him to GOP voters. The nominee will be Guiliani, Romney, Thompson or (dark horse) Huckabee. Paul can't be the nominee simply because he won't get enough GOP votes.
