the amount of police in my town the past month has grown x's 5 at least. and i believe what they were doing last week was practicing a road block at an intersection in town.(they didnt stop anyone,just pretended like they were directing traffic when NOTHING was wrong with the traffic lights).they were there for several hours,a line of police cars/flashing lights.

I agree things are happening fast. There are at least 20 times more cops in and around Austin lately. I see more and more everyday. They had a motorcycle cop holding up traffic off a busy exit off of Hwy 35 here and I almost got rear-ended by a van and a motorcycle because I was the last car in the hold up and backed all the way up into the highway. When I got close there was no reason for it. I think they are just practicing.

Has anyone watched the movie "Soldier" with Kirt Russell? Where the government goes into hospitals, pick the children they want, & bring them up as military soldiers who will even kill the hostage in order to kill the criminal. Very interesting movie.
