  • I am Puerto Rican and I want to know what that Hell is wrong with us in Puerto Rico. We weren’t like that before. We need a strong government probably a dictator to put this bastard in place. Well Mexican is even worse so this is not just Puerto Rico. It is like a disease spreading in the world.

  • dont blame it on puerto ricans my grand parent have 4 huskys and they are all very healthy is just people r mean

  • god bless that puppy

  • my animals are all saved. i am paying a mortgage off on my own and feeding 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 chooks. my partner helps feed me when needed and he is paying off his own mortgage. they are our like our kids and will always be put before ourselves as they depend on us. we will be starting a family soon and our animals will never any worse off! god bless you guys for saving a creature that relies on us. if only there were more of yous.

  • @jodieleemills What a compassionate, giving soul you are! GOD is watching over us and carefully examining those who show mercy and kindness for animals. Dogs especially are put on this planet as a test of character for people. People who are oppertunists dont like dogs. People who are humane, kind and compassionate love dogs for dogs are the most loving beings alive! Hope you continue spreading the good word of rescue dogs. They rock!

  • poor dog got injured but lucky it didn't die. your lucky that she/he lived she/he is a lucky dog you know. :)

  • yay for yoli and the people who saved her life.. very very touching. god bless all involved.. tears running down my cheeks.. :)

  • Everyone's saying "OMG people in Puerto Rico are so fucking evil!!"... Don't blame it on all of us. It was just a group of people who didn't value dogs.

Take into consideration that the surviving dogs are being cared by PUERTO RICANS. It's not like we're all evil. Don't generalize, cuz that would be like me saying that everyone in America is a mass-murderer because of all the shootings that have happened over there.

  • See not only korea and china eats dog..Puerto Rican eats dog too

  • Puerto Rico doesn't eat dogs......

People are just evil these days....don't blame it on one group of people.

  • can someone tell me what happnd in the massacre wher they kulled or something???? i live in new zealand so i dont know what happend ... dogs rule!

  • I am not exactly sure but my uncle lives there, he told me that animal control officials were dumping dogs under the overpass on a road, not 5 or 10 but more like 40 at a time, some were dead, some were still alive and were seriously hurt, people came out of the houses to protest b/c dogs were abducted from their owners in the projects nearby. Alot of people were pissed off. There is rumor that animal control and the local gov't profits from this.

  • sorry I think I posted by adding a new comment instead of replying, I don't know, anyway you can check out the video called "the dogs of Puerto Rico". It has two parts to it.

  • its funny how she recently died. {chuckles]

  • God bless you people, and all animals, and thanks for sharing this. This dog survived horrible abuse and deserves this second chance at life, missing a leg or not. Pay no attention to some people.

  • DOES ANYONE KNOW!!! if the lowlifes that took the dogs from thos people where criminal charge?

  • By the way Yoli run, walk and play like a normal dog. Her leg was amputated two months after this video and she is not struggling or suffering. She is a happy and very sociable dog.

  • Yoli is a normal dog. We asked the same questions about quality of life for Yoli. If the vets wouldve told us that she will be suffering she wouldnt be here today. The children that lost their pets in that bridge see Yoli as good winning after evil The pain those families shared loosing a family member in the most inhumane way regained hope and faith when they knew Yoli survived and she is the reason for justice. You can watch her update after one year. She is just fine.

  • can u please tell me what happend did people go around killing peoples pets??

  • u dumf ignorant fuck these poor animals are dieing in millions and millions all over the world, and all u can think is on how low ur low budget is, u dont have to if u dont want but at least care and keep us stupid comments to yourself, would you?

  • Hey guess what, you won't be able to make me keep my comments to myself In fact, why dont you take every single word you typed. Right click every single word. Copy and paste them onto a word processor. Set the size to 72. Then Print 50 copies of each statement. Next put a little icy hot on each page, and then stick them straight up your candy ass!

  • So now you are trying to be like the Rock now, u need to grow up u stupid moron, u maked no sence at all.

  • Before you get off your daddy's lap at the computer, you need to learn how to spell correctly before even being considered for a response. Now brush off into your little world, I gotta watch some dogfighting videos!

  • dide you are an asshole people like you that are careless to animals should die and burn in Hell For Ever.

  • Its nice to save animals from death but when you see them suffer like you see this dog, then it makes one wonder, would the animal be better off dead instead of suffering. Anyone who enjoys seeing this video obviously enjoys seeing an animal suffer, just look at how helpless that dog is from trying to get around! Wake up people, its not worth saving animals that will suffer when they survive!

  • the dog SUFFERED to BRING attention to the situation, or it would NOT have survived. the dog is a MESSENGER.

& please don't say anything stupid about me, Iv'e heard it all.

  • Thank you for posting Yolis video and all your comments. Yoli is doing great, she is happy and healthy. We have a new video of Yoli, one year later at YouTube. Blessings to you all.

  • lucky baby..bless u guys who helped her!...be strong yoli!

  • so adorable, thanks for getting back again! She looks like a shar pei & rhodision ridgeback mix-- too cute!!! yea for her :)

  • Nobody is saying that animal rights is more important than human needs. Both are important.

It's good that many people advocate to help alleviate human suffering in all forms.

It's also good that some people want to help animals.

If I had one second to make a decision, I would sacrifice myself. All life to me is sacred and I couldn't live with myself if I chose.

P.S. If God didn't want me to help dogs then he wouldn't have given me empathy for them to such a strong degree.

  • Well since you sacrificed yourself, both the animal and human suffer for your choice. You animal activists crack me up I am gonna roll me a fat joint now!

  • @clablanc You wrote this one year ago but I cant stress enough how very inspirational your comment was. You are human, its always nice to have those on earth, not many people have a heart of gold like yours. Take care.

  • you are another ignorant asshole, this is not about choosing in beetween a life of a dog or a human is simply to help these poor animals in witch are dieing in millions all over the world.

  • @super8brit I would chose a dog over the man.

I could care less. THe man has lived for long.

THe dog would have not lived his life

  • @super8brit ,sorry,but i would save an animal over a human anytime,humans are greedy,cruel ,selfish,stupid,wasteful etc.etc.need i say more?

  • @majorferret you dont need to say more. I dont know why you are posting against something I said more than a year ago. But thats cool, perhaps after August school will be back in session and you will have less time to go after 1 year posts. Otherwise, if you hate humans that much, go live in the wild with the animals.

  • @super8brit ,the reason i am posting my hatred now,is because i dont make it my life to sit in front of a computer all day long and this is the first time i have seen this video.as far as school is concerned i graduated in 1976.

  • Thank you!

  • Kiss her from me !

  • that is wonderful!! she seems so happy!! how is she now? and did they take the leg so she could move more freely, and without dragging foot?? AS long as she is safe and happy, thats best

  • Yes, the dog's leg was amputated and she is in much better shape. She was taken in by one of the rescuers and is doing good. She has some incontinence issues due to nerve damage but the person who took her in is ok with that and loves her.

  • This is wonderful. :)

  • GOOD JOB :D what a lucky dog

  • "They too, are created by the same loving hand of God which created us. It is our duty to protect them and promote their well-beign. ~Mother Teresa"

Oh, thank you for saying that, Mother Teresa!

    WE MUST PROTECT THEM!

  • they shouid do something about killing dogs and cats . that makes me mad.

  • poor dog he is so lucky iam so happy =3

  • My pup PineNut came from the beach Playa Flamenco, on Culebra, PR. Taking him home has been one of the single best decisions i have ever made!

  • I was recently in Rincon, P.R. I it very sad seeing all the animals there. I almost came back with two myself ;) Sadly, I am unable to have them. I might have them shipped to the states to find homes though :)

  • Aww, I bet your puppy is a sweet heart. ^_^

  • good job

  • If you live on the mainland USA, there are several rescue organizations that get these sweet dogs from Puerto Rico. I know that the following rescue places have them: Northeast Animal Shelter and SPCA of Monroe, CT.

I adopted one of these dogs and she is a GREAT dog with a wonderful disposition.
