  • very cool bro ; )

  • Great video man....love the recreation of the plane comin down on cross winds..question: in order to experience the cross winds you just set the FX weather settings for that or there's like an addon for that?????

  • @cocolia6828 yes i had to set the winds on weather settings of rex

  • @guitargamery so rex has to do with too???

  • it's not FSX

  • @lepauvconnnard ...lol its what??

  • your positioning on the runway is good but you have some work to do because once you touchdown everything pretty much falls apart.

  • Amazing!

    5*****

  • From what I've heard and been told about crosswind landings this severe is first, Don't do them if you have the choice, two right before your landing gears touch down you are suppose to straighten the aircraft to prevent damaging the landing gears which also provides a smoother followup on the runway, and lastly any landing you can walk away from is a good one. Good job keeping it together see if any of these work for you next time.

  • Great work. Try also landing at Quito airport with strong crosswind...,

or crosswind landing with engine failure. Those should be some challenges.

  • cool

  • You forget the last second rudder to adjust it to the centerline. Or that´s the way you want it?

  • What kind of module or software do you use to get this is smooth moves in camera? Atcive Camera? Walk And Follow?

  • @guitargamery-the into the screen effect at 2:00 was awesome

  • @guitargamery haha no problem. you deserve it nice landing in 170 knt winds aha.

  • @charleslee201 i would kick your ass probably!!!lolwell show mr whast u got.. because here is almost 25 years of experience

  • @guitargamery I will never even try landing on that kind of crosswind ( company management rules lol)

  • Hahaha sad and g$y

  • nice ! very nice.

try kicking the rudder to alng to the runway, this way you don't destroy de landing gear!

  • nice ! very nice

  • Deixei uma indicação em particular sobre este video.

  • you must kick the rudder right before you land left or right, nice vid!

  • Quais são as configurações do seu pc ?

  • yeah you have to traine more to land this beast better men :P

    just kiding great landings...

    cheers mate

  • You need to use more rudder!!

  • dude u supposed to align back straight to runway after crosswind landing @ 0:51 upon touching ground or else crashed in reality i think!

  • Great Video..if the passengers walk away..it's a good landing :)

  • You should straigten out the plane before you land or else you can damage the landing gear.

  • aMAZING

    It's fsx or fs2004 ??

  • @VinzAirlines man read at least the title--lol

  • @guitargamery oh sorry !

    i don't look this, thanks

  • Is this an ILS Approach? I believe you make a wrong way to approach the runway. You have to set the plane in miles away from the runway. It's impossible without ILS.

  • @glxflames isnt an ILS aproach!! is totally visual

  • @glxflames ils?? do you get it that this isa a total visual approach?? do you know about planes friend? im a airliner pilot( brazil) thats why i think your statement is so in the dark

  • @realitypiloting

I noticed that this is a visual approach but in some cases (in the game) stong crosswinds make the plane unstable. Maybe i don't know about airoplanes in real life but i play this game the last 5 years so i know many tricks of the game.

  • Really AMAZING!!

  • great video

  • Cool vid! But in real life, your landing gear would break. You have to align your plane with the runway just seconds before take-off...

  • Very good job mate! congrats :-)

  • cool

  • Respect!

  • 2 words:

    Holy. Crap.

If I would have done this I would have failed for sure.

Oh, and I am already subbed ;P

  • cool

  • nice;) I already subbed ;)

  • Holy shit nice landing :O!!!

  • pretty damn cool, crosswinds are very hard in a boeing 777.

  • Just before the flare, opposite rudder (downwind rudder) is applied to eliminate the crab, with a simultaneous application of opposite aileron to maintain a wings-level attitude, so that at touch down, the body, velocity vector, and bank angle are all aligned with the runway, and the aircraft is positioned near the center.

    Regards,

    MasterStanko

  • All respect to the video.Nicely done! But i wouldn't try to touch with the front wheel in that possition. The objective of this technique is to maintain wings level and the aircraft position near the runway centerline during approach. Position is maintained by balancing the crosswind component, or more accurately the drag force arising from it, with engine thrust. Wings are maintained level throughout the approach.

  • Nice landings!

  • Very cool.

  • I played Simulator.

  • Nice =) amazing video

  • It's marvelous to see the perfect azymuth between flying and landing

    when they arrived;

    Its always a great moment.

    Very nice clips

    xF - Rio de Janeiro

  • Cool stuff - thanks for the ride! =)

  • this is awesome...

  • Fantastic

  • Nice compositing at the beginning. This one's a like.

  • KLM almost took November taxiway signal with it!!!

  • wonderful video!!!

  • @guitargamery AA dont fly the 777-300

  • @jackd166 well i do have this 777 american airlines from cls---cls mustake not mine...didnt know

  • sorry dude, but the intro is well depressing

  • awesome...good video mate!!

  • 2:45 another ultra super epic drift :D omg its so awesome!

  • BTW EPIC DRIFT at 2:01 :D good job homie

  • WINDS 170 KNOTS?! WTF?!

  • I would like to know what system you have what frames rates you having with the light bloom on " WOW !!! that's all I have to say"

  • Tens altos aviões. Sacaste os?? Parabéns pelo vídeo!

  • holy crap... 170 knots?!

  • Cooool!

  • Awesome, but were winds on 170 Knots? Or 17 knots?

  • very good

  • what 777 was it?

  • very good xD what were your weather settings? ;)

  • quite good, but what airport?

  • 2:43 plane drifting? Lol. Anyways quite nice landings, good job.

  • Amazing

  • You are crazy, and for that you get a thumbs up (don't ask me why, LOL)

Which 777 is this, I mean who makes it?

  • Er... Um... the title.

  • @jasleil what about it?

  • @jasleil danke

  • @guitargamery Welcome.

  • You should get out of the crabbing position before landing because the gears can't take too much stress. But who cares, every succesful landing is a good landing :)

  • @saufi94 yes i know but isnt really easy the plane always feedback to that position...anyway i know i really have to work on it, neutralizing the trim before touchdown helps a lot..i just cant do it right yet...tx

  • @guitargamery It's hard if you only have a joystick (like me) that doesn't have a twistable... stick. What I do is right before touchdown I change the x-axis control from ailerons to rudder. :D

  • @guitargamery man i am gettting my pilots liscenes now if your crabbing i hear or well i have been taught just to tilt your wing to the wing then slam the opp rudder. i dont no if your talking about adjusting rudder trim. but my experience is dont mess with rudder trim. great video though 5 stars!

  • @saufi94 i heard that a lot of the new boeing and airbus that are larger that the gear will allow you to crab onto the runway then use rudder. but the gear will just stay straight. just what i have heard.

  • Nice job dude (:

  • VERY NICE JOB!

  • 1st view, 1st rate, 1st comment , and 1st favorite :)

  • @nascarfan154 lol thanks a lot man!!

  • @guitargamery heheh no problem i'm praticing FSX Crosswinds to but i dunno how to use the weather settings i just use my rudder full on way and just pretend cross wind lol but i do set the wind speed to 60 for the smoke effects
