His crossing from one keyboard to another (and playing on two keyboards at once with one hand) is simply amazing. I have to agree that I also am not very moved by his playing. I am impressed, amazed, astounded, and blown away by his technique and his superb registration. However, I would like to hear him play some "standard" repertoire to see how he would present something that has much more musical depth.

Cameron Carpenter has an incredible playing technique, he always plays from memory, his registrations sound good, and he does play rather musically. BUT,

THAT IS ALL THERE IS. I am ALWAYS feel disappointed with his performances. They are SO cold. There is NO warmth and NO soul . Everything is TOO right. Sorry to all of you fanatical Carpenter fans, I am NOT an anti-carpenter person at all. This is the impression that he leaves with me. I am NEVER, EVER MOVED by his organ playing whatsoever.

What a suppleness of hands and fingers it is necessary to have to play on 4 keyboards at the same time! Bravo for this performance, even if personally I prefer Chopin in his original writings but your "creations" are very interesting. Thank you for this video

@mazurka27 I am certain that if Chopin were alive now, with teh technology available today, and given teh necessary medical assistance that he lacked, he would be doing as much experimentation today as he was with the NEW Pleyel pianoforte of teh time.
