and dont forget George Lynch??? Hes a poser but you got the guitar players that played with him ALL WRONG.. In the crazy train video look close & you will see a PURPLE MARSHALL HEAD on Randys stack and Lynch was always trying to buy it from Randy....
Brad Gillis finished that tour than did speak of the devil with him as well which showcased Brads talent more than Night Ranger ever did, Jake E Lee who was with Ratt until replaced by Warren D Martini Ozzy thankfully got rid of him rather quickly than along came Zakk who was the closest to Randy of the three.
Well considering the fact that there's VERY few video of Randy in concert, you're gonna have a hard time looking for decent concert footage of Randy. These bootlegs are the best you're gonna see for now. But in the future, something's gonna pop up.
this is beutifulll. look at that jackson!!!! he had the best fucking taste!!! he was doing this shit in 82 hes the best in my book. has one thing avan halen doesnt, its style.
Rudy Sarzo on Bass. I met him and took a cool pic of us between the BOC and Alice Cooper show in Columbus, August 1. Rudy is one cool dude, was Randy's best friend.
Why is the title "Ozzy Osbourne/Randy Rhoads"? I know they've written the song, but the band's name is "Ozzy Osbourne". It's like having the title for an AC/DC song "Brian Johnson/Angus Young". Doesn't seem right.
@LuwiigiMaster: Cuz the whole reason people listen to these soundboard recordings is for the sake of hearing live performances by Randy Rhoads, since very little PRO footage of him has ever been officially released. So naturally his name is included in the title.
@LuwiigiMaster well you are wrong cause the diary of a madman tour was with some brad gillis at some shows after randy`s death so he finished the tour.
and for AC/DC is like writing the title like AC/DC w/ Simon Wright cause they fired phill rudd at 1983 and hired him agaim at 1995
When Randy was killed, Ozzy replaced him with Brad Gillis (from Night Ranger) for the remainder of that 1982 tour. After that, Ozzy finally recruited Jake E. Lee as his new guitar player. Zak didn't come along until many years later.
@Tessmage No, before Brad Gillis came along, they were auditioning replacements (no Idea how they did that, they were all still in shock) Jet Records wanted either Bernie Torme, the guitarist for Pat Benatar's band, or Rudy Sarzo's kid brother who is a guitarist and a fan of Randy. Rudy's brother got the gig originally, but Jet Records wanted Bernie Torme. Bernie did a month worth of gigs until he left Ozzy and then Brad came in.
You are incorrect about Bernie Torme. Yes, he played briefly with Ozzy but no, he was not Pat Benatar's guitarist. Back at that time, Pat's guitarist was Neil Geraldo. They were also married at the time.
@Tessmage I didn't word it right. They auditioned 3 guitarists. Bernie,Neil Geraldo, and Robert Sarzo. Rob got the gig originally, but Jet Records wanted Bernie to join, which he ended up doing.
ive always wondered wat guitars he has used for certain songs
in this pic hes playing the solo to flying high again( i can tell) but ive also seen a pic of his using the polka dot V playing flying high again. i wish someone new what guitar he used for the sabbath covers..
@ILoverguitars I might be dead wrong, but I always figured he used the white LP for songs in E, the PDV for songs in E requiring a whammy bar, the black Jackson for songs in Eb and the white Jackson for songs in Eb needing the whammy.

also because randy's amazing. I think he's easily earned his right to be in the title. haha. I think the band should have been called Randy Rhoads.
