  • Wow! I have never actually expected this! I have indeed seen bells for ringing in churches, city offices, universities, or indeed even hospitals -- but a private HOUSE!? What do the neighbours think? The garage as the "ringing chamber" and obviously one of the rooms dedicated as the "bellfry"! Simply amazing!

  • I don't suppose anyone would mind, the house is quite far away from the nearest neighbours!

I know loads of people with towers in their house/garage (me included - although ours are only 10oz), and there aren't nearly as many complaints as you would imagine!

  • OOH! They don't half lean over. Well I suppose they'd have to wouldn't they.

  • What do you mean by 'lean over'?

  • They lean over more than average sized bells would.

I assume its purpose is to avoid bumping stays compared to normal stays. Bumping them can ruin ringing. If that quite makes sense. lol. I think I've worded that wrong.

  • Oh ok. Fair enough. I don't really pay attention to stuff like that. I just ring :)

  • Sound nice for such a light peal.

  • Whats Martin doing on these micky mouse bells lol!!!

  • Making them look like hard work!

  • He makes ringing the Micro ring look like hard work!!!

  • I did that...
