  • hi. Mark Lippman thought this album was crap. How wrong was he? David and Jim made 4 albums at Hansaton Studios which were influential beyond measure.Hauptstrasse's Neues Ufer. Just go there for a drink. Dave, probably with fond memories of his old Riley days in Beckenham, had an old Merc at the time which would never start. He got the feel in that difficult beginning in "Always Crashing". Trust me. Have just got back from Schoneberg. Berlin bliebt doch Berlin!! Zil xx

  • low is a great album !!!!

    love this period a lot 77 -79

  • The harmonica is the key. This was not a cold album. It was emotional. That wailing conjuring up the past glories. This guy was like no other. x
