@ddelfao i don't think you understand the scene from 8:30 on and how much it represents. If you did you would realize that it's the perfect way for Denny to leave... Alex replaced him and was exactly what Izzie needed.

But the reality is, like you said, Izzie was meant to be with Alex, I just feel bad for Denny that's all :)

I didn't really think about this the first time I watched the episode because I was so swept up in the Alex-Izzie awesomeness, but if all of those people were there for Meredith and Derek's wedding, I wonder how many of them were saying wtf at the last minute switch. And what about the fact that no one from Derek's family was there - or at least they didn't address that fact.

they were so perfect... I mean, I'm sorry and maybe it's mean, but if Katherine wanted out, they should've written off both Izzie and Alex. There is no more storyline for him without her anyway - as much as I appreciate Justin, I wish they would've left together - and Alex and Izzie's love would've survived. I'm still kind of hoping she'll come back to him in the series finale and they'll get their happy ending.

But I've never liked her, so I don't care. But I still hope that KH comes back for a few episodes to give Alex and Izzie closure. They never have had this.

I wrote that 1 month ago. It's just official that she won't come back a few days ago. And Izzie is not dying because of cancer. KH's last episode was 6.12. She is not coming back for the finale. And yes, she signed 7 seasons. She broke her contract because she wanted to do movies. Shonda and ABC let her go before her contract ended.

No, she won't. She is cured. No cancer at all anymore. That's the reason why Alex left her (according to the writers blog). And KH did sign for season 7 as well. It's not clear if she will be back full time.
