I know it's been almost seven years since this went down and we're still agonizing over it but I think it shows how much of a game changer her firing was to this band and the genre as a whole; it was devastating.

I do like Tuomas, but obviously he couldn't stand being said no to and he didn't want Tarja's input. Also, he's always saying what happened in 2005 is 'ancient history'. That's true. But he made an entire album (Dark Passion Play) about Tarja. And people are starting to accept both sides have moved on. So, in recent interviews they have stopped asking about Tarja...

Search for Tristania, After Forever, Sirenia (the mind Maelstrom), Within Temptation (Ice queen)...i hope i helped
