This is a great example of how Lou Reed really is still relevant. It's too bad that so many young folks only know him via the cringe worthy Metallica collaboration. The Velvet Underground had so many great songs, and he has some awesome duets with folks like Pete Townshend and many others.

He was the primary songwriter of The Velvet Underground, a group which influenced just about every genre and important band/musician since the late 60s. His singing style is about delivery. His voice isn't as good as it was 10 years ago, but give the man a break, he's approaching 70. Without Lou, music wouldn't be the same, so please show some respect
