@coolbeansclips its best to tame them with wheat once you find one cuz they dont respawn neither do cows pigs i think chickens dont either but find 2 tame them right click both then they'll make a little sheepy sheep same with cows and pigs hoped it help =]

@nijakiwi1 not applicable anymore since if you try to hit a zombie from inside with a door, the door will open. Doesn't matter from where you placed it, it will open as long as you click.

@catkid133 If you get really bored with finding sheep, or you it takes hours of searching and no luck, (and you don't mind a sort of cheat :P) install the single player command mod, press T, type in Spawn Sheep and a sheep will spawn for you :D.

Mobs will spawn random, it does not depend on a seed, just travel a few more chunks away and you'll find some sheep :D
