@darrellkiely91 Months after your comment, I realized that blast radius and fallout is pretty big, considering it's a futuristic nuke xD Minimum safe distance is probably around 500 miles.
This and lost odyssey were the only games that made me consider getting a 360, but i just couldn't leave SMT behind. Now we get this and mistwalker's contract is for just one more game.

Okay, this game looks great dont get me wrong. But, let's just look at the facts here. If there was a full on nuclear war, everyone would die, and our civilizations would collapse. Secondly, even if they did make it so we could warp places, i dont think theyd send kids. Nevertheless, the gameplay looks fun despite there being some very questionable themes to the story line.

I bet my life on it. Square just released star ocean for psp and 2 is on it's way. Star Ocean 4 will see ps3 release but probably later with more content...like Bioshock.
That being said, Square has been showing much more X360 support than Ps3 support as of late. And typically speaking, the Ps3 exclusives will go to the 360, not so much the other way around (although it happens once in a while)

man, that's a EMP or Electro Magnetic Pulse, that happens when a nuclear bomb activate, seconds after chain reaction has commenced
this is known to make machinery and technology malfunction instantly.
No storms cant damage jets or helicopters with lightning because you need to be grounded for the damage to occour

Actually, No. The first Star ocean was on Super Nintendo. Sure it was later remade for psp. But Not ALL Star ocean games were for sony systems.

I bet my life on it. Square just released star ocean for psp and 2 is on it's way. Star Ocean 4 will see ps3 release but probably later with more content...like Bioshock.

There's a good chance.
That being said, Square has been showing much more X360 support than Ps3 support as of late. And typically speaking, the Ps3 exclusives will go to the 360, not so much the other way around (although it happens once in a while)

well there is FF Versus 13 (epic) and White Knight (nothing special but still worth a play i think) for it.
...that being said I think we can pretty much take versus not staying exclusive for granted....

Actually, this game is set before the first Star Ocean. Which basically means this game is the 1st in the series chronologically.

As for the game star ocean the second story was probably one of the most amazing RPG's I have ever played. Star ocean three was not of the same quality. This looks like it will be similarly disappointing, but who knows

yep the planet is dying because of the nuclear fallout. which is why they are exploring outer space as a means to find a more suitable planet.

I thought only the capitals where hit? Plus the planet is still inhabited in SO3. Of course it may only be that way because of technology discovered exploring THE GREAT STAR OCEAN!

nope, re watch the video the map shows it best there are nukes flying everywhere. and yeah the probably terraformed earth with technology the got from their galactic allies or that they developed in the hundreds of years between this game and SO1
