  • This song gives me cold chills...its so true.

  • 6 people don't give a shit about how fucked up the world is, they probably were born with wealthy fortuante parents and were spoiled little brats that don't care bout anything but themselves.

  • And I forgot to mention Brian, and he has also written this song. How silly of me.. Sorry

  • If you don't like this song you...forgive me...Blow chimp.

  • Maybe that 6 people are sitting on their thorne right now..

  • so TRUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song is so true.. Why do I have to grow up in a fake world filled with gossip and hate towards other people? Why can't those people just be nice instead of bringing pain? And money also turns people into monsters.. Thank you Fred for writing this wakeup call..

  • 6 people are sitting on a throne waiting for life to go by.

  • Im not gay but I'd do Freddie....

  • who could dislike this song?

  • personally, i think this is the greatest song on the acoustic ever (i think it's the acoustic)

  • This song is short but speaks more than a lot of anothers songs

  • The true is that everything it s F..ked up If the animals were above human .... think about . Bye the way Freddie , you re still the best , God Bless You .

  • This is in your face Brutal honesty ! take or leave it no matter what u think or believe it s true ! humans have ruined this world !

  • @Rockandrollrules19 So True So Very True .....

  • I wish this was longer. This is ten times better than "We Are the World".

  • @Mike0Powell ....you can't say that... It's 1000 times better then the new "We Are the World" for haiti...but the '72 version...

  • @TheMariborcanHD You're right, the original "We Are the World" is comparable with "Is This the World We Created?" . But if I could have only one song to exist, I'd pick this one, "We Are the World" encourages the listener to go out and do good. This song does the same (to a lesser extent), but also calls the listener to realize what good we HAVEN'T been doing, which is just as important.

  • @Mike0Powell I disagree. It's an amaizing song, one of Queen's best IMHO but not better than We Are The World.

  • @AndreyZidaneTM I'm not denying it's a great song, but I already stated my reasoning why I like this song better.

  • @Mike0Powell I understand. I guess it all boils down to personal opinions and musical taste and I respect yours.

  • @Mike0Powell Only ten? ahah

  • @Mike0Powell they are both pretty good song but this one songs better because its solo (old "we are the world")

  • Yes, me too... 2:18 is not enough!

  • @Mike0Powell repeat :D

  • Just fabolous.

  • Piękne !!!

  • @GranatowyKozaczek Zgadzam się w pełni :)

  • no one like my comments

  • i love this song!

  • 555 likes and 5 dislikes LOL

  • amazing song.. it's incredible

  • I just listened it... It made my cry. Everything i feel, is put into this song... Im not talking just about the words. The song, a solo guitar... Thats just so...

  • Back then, this was just a song.

Now flash forward to today. Really, IS this the world we created? IS this the world we live on?

  • @ManofWario well said

  • Such a powerful song and only 2:18 long

  • What a meaningful song!

  • 4 people think our world is perfect and worth saving :/

  • Freddy Mercury finding out his band influence lady gaga

  • Great song! Very nice beautiful ...

  • This song is so true ... And even now, it's the exact same situation. Our world haven't changed a bit since these times. It's sad, but it's the truth.

  • Bello il titolo di questa canzone!

  • such an immensely talented band <3

  • Freddy, best singer ever, I miss you!!!!!!

  • When watching video of the tsunami damage in Japan, this song comes into my head.

  • Rip the people in Japan

  • @vanooyen97 The fact that you are ignorant enough to copy those stupid messages is bad enough. But then you have to come and post it here, of all the songs, of all the bands, shows that you are... I'm not gonna say, but you can guess what I mean.

  • god this is the most amazing song i mean i love the beatles and pink floys and all them and those bands are deap but this song is just beyond belief amazing

  • How can 2 people dislike this song !!!!

infact how can anybody dislike this sing...

  • oh Queen, again I realise why you're my favourite artists ever!

  • queen always spoke up all various real condition in this life in a very beautiful tones.. sadness, hapiness. love. we love queen.

  • I want a twelve string Ovation. >.<

  • Someone please give me the tab for guitar :D

  • i cried my eyes and the begining middle and end.:_(

  • its sooo beautiful! <3

  • Very good song, one of the "hidden" pearls of the band with excellent lyrics, too. A touch too "sermon-like" by the end, though.

  • @stepeannan Oh, I dunno.. when you look at what we've devastated, it rings truer than true.

  • This song... Is so true

  • Think about if Freddie Mercury and Micheal Jackson were to wright a song together...

  • @tiokiller7 eh eh eh

  • @tiokiller7

They did. In fact, they made 3. 2 of the songs are on YouTube. Thank God, copyright can't touch Queen.

  • @neutralhero999 Haha, well I did not know that. What are they called?

  • @tiokiller7

"State of Shock" and "There Must be More to Life Than This".

  • @neutralhero999 Thank you, they are amazing.

  • Freddie and Brain are simply amazing together...Queen forever

  • its like they saw into the future....

  • two people missed the like button

  • @fayeslover that actually happen to me the other day :)

  • @manvout english man! english!

  • 25 years ago this song was penned, today the meaning is still relevant and meaningful

  • @dogstar518 Very true, and I'm sure as long as humans are dominant on this rock, it always will be relevent to all of us and everyone. RIP Freddie -you understood.

  • oh freddy if you could only see what we are living in this is worst than hell and its getting worse

  • :'( makes me annoyed to think how we've messed up big time

  • One of the most amazing lyrics ever penned by Queen. Saw both The Works Tour - and Sydney Live Aid. Brilliant song but Wembley piece was extraordinary. Still totally relevant - - and to be honest Freddie will always be missed.. Can't really think of another vocallist like him. Apparently he to was a big John Lennon fan.

  • Bryan may is one of the best guitarists in the world don´t even compare him to slash only compare him to clapton cause both of them got this feeling when they play like they are singing with the guitar

  • @CrippledPotato

Thank you. You know that Brian just got his PhD in Astrophysics? How and why would you need a degree in Astrophysics when you can play guitar like that? So much better than lame Slash. :)

  • I love how there was like one moron who disliked the video -_-

seriously- what's not to like about this song?

  • there's two now :(

  • @TheGrownUpAdult

    oh damnn </3 : (

  • fuck the person who put dislike. this is a bueatiful song and we should all listen to this and go out and make the world a better place. am sorry i had to curse.

  • from the album "The Works" released 1984, still relevant today, enough said!

  • i will cry!!! its a beautiful song. is one of the best songs of queen

  • This is one of the best songs i have ever heard

  • before the world gets better, its going to get worse

  • I've never heard this Queen song before - thanks for uploading!

  • Every word in this song is wonderfull and especially true!

  • love 100%

  • if you ask me this is where micheal jackson got his what about us idea from!

  • Brian May and Freddie Mercury really wrote a pretty song here.

  • Para mi los 2.58 minutos de cancion mas bonitos de la historia de la musica.

  • this man is magnificient! and what a pity that the world we invaded still counld not produce another singer on a par with Freddie....

  • tears, tears, tears

  • This is the song that everybody hae to hear!

  • Great lyrics songs, not just in this one.

Queen will always be the queen of music

  • Everyone talks about how awesome Freddie was and all..

But don't forget the insanely talented guitarist, Brian May. He's friggen ah-mah-zing!

  • @CrippledPotato and drummer, and bassist.. they are all pretty damn good

  • @CrippledPotato

    Brian May is the best!

  • @CrippledPotato Freddie Mercury is better. ._.

  • @Elkotend

    a better guitarist? o.õ

  • @Elkotend Neither are better...They're both amazing, talented men who both deserve the same amount of respect, just like Roger and John. It's silly to argue that one member is better than the others when Queen couldn't have been the same without any one of them.

  • @CrippledPotato and don't forget the best drummer and bassist: Roger Taylor and John Deacon :)

  • @CrippledPotato Yes, Brian is a rocket scientist. One of the best things about Queen is the song writing. Brian wrote a lot of them, all the other members are also good song writers. This was a joint effort( the band not this song inparticular).

  • @graffmsm Astrophysicist.

  • @CrippledPotato you means ' A-MAY-ZING!!

  • @thomasinho97

    haha, yeah!

  • @CrippledPotato

Yes Brian is amazing, and so are roger taylor and even john deacon.

    They were the perfect band.

  • BEAUTIFUL :)))

  • Huge, immense, and the lyrics of this song (unfortunately) it's bloody present.

    Freddie forever

  • I will always love you freddie! you are the best ever! <3<3<3<3<3<3

  • Queen, the best of world

  • indeed the best band that ever was and ever will

  • nothing change ...poor us....poor freddy R.I.P.

  • this is like a song about todays world

  • i think it is one

  • @Daltonjabs ofcourse it is... it isn't that old a song.

  • @Daltonjabs This is a timeless song. Just like Dreamer by John Lennon, What a Wonderful World by Satchmo, and many others.

  • @Daltonjabs This is a song about the world of all times

  • @Daltonjabs well, no shit! what did you think it was about?

  • @Daltonjabs not just today.... yesterday, tomorrow... there's always just so much darkness in this world. Can't help but wonder if it's our faults. If in all of our progress we forgot morality for the sake of industry destroying our innocence and forgetting those in need.

  • I've been searching for lyrics of this song since I've heard this during the '80s. Very touching song and makes you realize who we are. Farouk, thank you so much.

  • I never knew this song existed.. but im glad I do !! Another great Freddie song !

  • When I checked this out, it had 39 ratings! :)-

  • So touching... :_(

  • It's beautiful!

  • Thank you for lyrics.

Freddie was amazing singer. We never will forget Queen.

Yes,we created this cruell world. We forgot what is love.:'(

  • Lyrics are meaningful:)

  • i have to say some, very few, songs they

do like "delilah" i don't like but i love this song and basicaly every other song these awsome kings of music made!!

  • same with me

  • THANK YOU FRITZES007

  • thank you so much for posting the lyrics! The song brings me to tears and the way you've made the vid, simple, yet enough, it's perfect! Thank you!

  • Amazingly enough, the Live At Wembley '86 version is much better! Great song, great lyrics, great band!

  • Your right but live performances always are. Freddie put such an huge amount of emotion in the lyrics. Queen are a timeless band who will never be forgotten.
