This is so strange to watch y'all play. The style is a bit different, especially the tackling. The tackling resembles more rugby influence than American Football. Bama v LSU Saturday night @ 7 CST. All players need to watch that game and learn; two best teams in the US right now. Roll Tide Roll!!
@flashjones123 I just listened to this song on a new album I'd downloaded and thought I recognised it, and remembered it was from this video! It's by 'Netsky' - called 'Secret Weapon'. Great song.
Love the sport, but I hate how their doing it all entirely the American way, do we really need to copy all the American styled stuff?
Like bursting through the tunnel with the flag and doing s synchronized warm ups with cheer leaders? ... it's that type of thing which gets this sport ridiculed in this country.
@Eddiebhoy1888 The whole bursting through the tunnel with the flag is a lot more exciting with a stadium of 80,000+ cheering for you, most American teams didn't do it when they first started, its something that'll make more sense with more excitement. Also, I don't think I've ever seen an American Football team do synchronized warm ups with cheerleaders.
@Eddiebhoy1888 agree. massive fooball fan here and i am so glad the spot is being played in unis here but i dont think it gets taken seriously because people likeme who play the sport in the uk get ridiculed mostly due to the fact that whenever most of us get a down we do that chest beating, african american dancing. go ''whooooo, think fast!!!'' etc when at the end of the day no one actually acts like that in britain. thats why people think its a jock sport. need to make the game more british
@corvettecentral despite american football being one of the UK's fastest growing sports and the skill required to be recruited into teams now rising, sadly very little games have spectators but im sure in the next few years to come this will change :)
@corvettecentral they normally only use one side of the sitting area because the stadium is not full up.. the spectators would have been sitting on the same side as the camera man which means u cnt c them.
Is football growing in the UK? Hope there will be an international college championship in the near future.

There's a first for everything, we cheerleaders support our team with their warm ups - and it's also freezing most of the time!
