I had the good fortune to be in the area this summer and went up with Luke. That was a great ride. If you get the chance to do the same, ask for the double hammer head!!!
It's not just the ride experience. It's the hospitality of everyone there. That day will live in my memory the rest of my life. Thank you again to Luke, Harv and all the rest of the people I met there.
i used to be there in harvs air at steinbach, i did my ppl there and most of my cross country hours..... i saw this plane in the hangar like a prince ,,, it is really a nice plane...i forget how much it cost per hour, more than c-152 and c-172 BUT it worth....
This is the most beautiful and inspiring Pitts video I've ever seen in my 55 years. I have 2 hours on it from 1973 when I got my pilot's license and I still remember it! My daughter will be 17 feb. 2, and I'm looking for an instructor to take her up on a Pitts or biplane for one hour of aerobatics from daddy. she will join the Air Force hopefully. Alright thanks for the beautiful video, an inspiration to everyone who dreams of flying. And it portrays the plane in a different "look" :).
