It took me some time to figure it out, but I can finally play this piece (obviously not with the same proficiency, as I am a mere beginner). I am now pursuing formal music training and considering auditioning to study in the guitar program under M. Chapdelaine. Next, I will attempt to play the arrangement of Moonlight Sonata that Lucarelli plays, which by the looks of it, will be a rather lengthy project.

many people criticize musician because they don't have "passion", one thing is for sure just the musician knows what feels inside when playing, maybe not all musicians shows the emotions we expect to see, but I think no one can play a piece so beautiful if has no passion for what he/she is doing

I know exactly what you mean. Buckethead is someone who's often accused of "having no soul", but usually only people who haven't really even listened to his music. I'm getting tired of people thinking "soul" or "passion" and putting on a visual performance are one and the same. In fact, it's the opposite if anything.

For example, Soothsayer just *oozes* raw emotion, but some people still say it lacks passion, which is just crazy.

I was born with perfect pitch :]

I can identify notes within about half a second of them being played, be them sharp natural or flat.

But I spend half of my life trying to convince people who don't believe :P

Actually some people are born with perfect pitch. Look at my favorite list you will see a few examples.

I think that he's got something known as "Perfect Pitch" which basically means that he can replay anything that he hears.

fyi, perfect pitch is the ability to consistently identify pitches - so if I play an A and and two days later play it again, someone with perfect pitch knows for sure that I played the same note. (that ability also brings with it an ear for where exact intervals should lie, etc.) but you're right that his perfect pitch probably helps him a ton to transcribe to classical guitar pieces that he hears.
