@johngsaxman If this the man who played on the original recording (and I sauspect he is) he is Tom Scott who, if you remember, was introduced, on one of the "Blues Brother's" recordings. He did not appear in the movie, however. And, unfortunately, he did not get the ovation he was due on this recording although the guitarist and singers did.
