My dad had one of these 1100's and the bloody axel used to break twice per year used to cost him a fortune to repair.

They ride extremely well actually. They have as good a ride quality as many a modern car and much better than the mini to which they were related.

If you get a chance, drive one. you'll be impressed. Much nicer than some french car.
